Charrisse Jackson Jordan On Karen Huger: Hints ‘RHOP’ Has A ‘Dry’ Life And Is Jealous
Charrisse Jackson Jordan was a vulnerable woman when she first started filming The Real Housewives of Potomac. Charrisse didn’t share her honest feelings at the time, but she kept telling her co-stars and friends that she and her husband Eddie enjoyed the distance. While she continued to live in Potomac, Eddie moved to New Jersey to live and work as a basketball coach.
But when he was fired, he didn’t return home to his wife, and their marriage quickly began to crumble. Many of her co-stars wanted to know if she was alright, but Jackson Jordan didn’t really open up about her marital troubles. On this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, she’s now building herself up again, and she has a theory that some of her friends are jealous.
According to a new Bravo report, Charrisse Jackson Jordan is now opening up about the drama that went down between herself and Karen Huger on Sunday’s episode of the show. Apparently, Jackson Jordan is convinced that Karen has a problem with Charrisse. Maybe Charrisse became less relatable after she decided to end her marriage and become a single woman.
“Any time I enter a room with Karen she really gets her panties in a bunch and tend to give off a negative vibe. She clearly has issues with me. In her mind, she feels as though we are competitors when really there’s no competition,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan explains in her blog for The Real Housewives of Potomac, revealing that she doesn’t see any competition between herself and Karen.
While Jackson Jordan was initially hurt by Karen’s attitude, she broke down. While she doesn’t see herself as weak, one can imagine she was going through some emotional breakthroughs as she came to realize that her marriage was truly over.
“At times I look at things so literal and can either become emotional or in other situations totally aggravated. I wish I wasn’t such an emotional person but it’s a character trait that I cannot seem to control. I’m working on it,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan explains about the breakdown she experienced during the episode.

Of course, drama always plays out on these kinds of shows and Karen may just have said things because she knows that the cameras are rolling and she can get a reaction from viewers. But it didn’t really make any sense that Huger called Charrisse Jackson Jordan “dry.” In fact, there’s nothing boring or repetitive about Charrisse’s life as she’s trying to find herself again.
“Yet again Karen makes no sense. Dry? Not Charrisse. That would be more of her life. I think secretly Karen wishes she was me and as a result, she’s become obsessed with wanting to dislike me for no reason. Again, I can’t figure out abnormal behavior and I gave up trying,” Charrisse Jackson Jordan explains in her blog, adding, “Only Karen would take my little emotional moment and turn it into it not being about me. Karen isn’t accustomed to being a true friend to anyone. So I don’t expect her to understand how much friendships mean to me.”

Karen does have a certain way of living her life. She doesn’t let anyone come close to her husband and daughter and she certainly doesn’t want to be associated with people who have no class or sophistication. But it does seem odd that she would suddenly shun Charrisse, simply because she’s choosing to divorce and live her life as a single woman.
What do you think about Charrisse Jackson Jordan’s comments about her co-star? Do you think she’s able to be a true friend to her other co-stars?
