Kristen Stewart Reunites With A Beloved ‘Twilight’ Beau And Fans Go Wild
It’s no secret that the cast of Twilight formed friendships and romances throughout the filming of the entire franchise and, while some of those relationships burned brightly and briefly, others stood the test of time. For proof of this, one needs only to look to Kristen Stewart and her enduring friendship with Taylor Lautner. While the pair may not get together often, they do maintain a close bond. When Taylor and Kristen do get together, as they did this weekend, Twilight fans take notice and share their emotional responses on social media platforms.
Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner Get Together For A Rare Reunion
Taylor and Kristen parted ways in 2012 with Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the last film in the franchise, but, as Metro shares, that hasn’t kept the stars apart. Lautner and Stewart were spotted out together this weekend, making an appearance at an after-party, following the Moschino’s spring/summer fashion show, during this weekend’s CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) celebrations and runway shows.
Lautner and Kristen were just two in a long list of actors, filmmakers, models, and fashion designers overrunning The Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles for the after-party.
WWD shared the picture via their Instagram account, which was also shared by Los Angeles photographer Chelsea Lauren. In the image, Ms. Stewart is seen under Taylor’s arm with both Twilight stars smiling.
“From the Moschino after party to the CFDA celebrations, here’s your inside look at some of the best fashion parties that happened this week,” WWD captioned the picture of Lautner and Stewart.
On the subject of Twilight, Kristen admitted she’s eager for a new installment in the franchise and said she would be one of the first to read a new book from Stephanie Meyer. Giving that Ms. Stewart is eager for a new book, there seems a good chance that she might sign on for a new Twilight sequel in the case of another film in the series.
Twilight Fans React To The Latest Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner Sighting
The reunion for Kristen and Taylor may have been a brief happy moment in a sea of celebrating fashion lovers, but, as Entertainment Tonight reports, that moment stirred intense fan reaction. Almost as soon as the picture of Lautner cuddling his Twilight co-star was released, fans took to their social media accounts to comment on the reunion. Whether they were Team Jacob or Team Edward, it seems all Twilight fans were just happy to see Kristen Stewart back together with another star from the franchise.
“#KristenStewart and #Taylorlautner best friends,” tweeted one fan, who added a picture showing the stars in a screenshot from a Twilight movie side by side with the recent CFDA after-party shot.
Another Twitter user responded to the picture, whose username reflected her love for Stewart and the Twilight franchise.
“This is so beautiful. Warms my heart to see how they became best friends on and off screen. Lovely pair #TaylorLautner#KristenStewart,” tweeted Kristen (@bellaxkristen) in sharing the picture.
Another user commented that the Twilight stars have always been best friends and that much is evident in the way that Lautner and Stewart have continued to support one another.
In the five years since Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 ended the franchise, both actors have gone through extreme evolutions in their private lives, so keeping their bond is as magical as anything Ms. Stewart and Taylor Lautner ever did on screen.
