Alaskan Bush People Update: Matt Brown Recovers From Freak Accident, Noah To Get Married?

Days ahead of its return to television, Alaskan Bush People gave an update regarding Billy and Ami Brown’s eldest son Matt. Matt Brown was reported to have been rushed to the emergency after a freak accident involving a mason jar and explosives. Now, ABP happily announced that fans don’t need to worry as Matt is currently out of danger.

In a message posted on the show’s official Facebook page, Matt Brown addressed the fans to say that he is now okay. He also thanked them for their concern and well wishes.

Thank you to everyone for your well wishes following my recent accident. I am doing well and recovering with my family. This year has been tough for us but your positive thoughts mean so much and keep us hopeful. Thank you again.

Matt Brown’s Freak Accident

Last May 26, TMZ reported that the eldest Brown sibling was severely injured after his refrigerator exploded and hit his head. Apparently, Matt was merely toying around with explosives as an experiment. He filled a mason jar with gunpowder and cannon fuse, put it inside his fridge, and blew it off (see a similar experiment in the video below).

The explosion caused the 35-year-old reality star to get nine staples in his head. Thankfully, the injury was not as severe as fans feared, and Matt’s recovery will surely be seen in the coming episodes of Alaskan Bush People Season 7.

Is Noah Brown Getting Married Soon?

Matt’s younger brother Noah has been getting a lot of buzz lately that he might be tying the knot with his girlfriend, Rhain Alicia Merrill. Noah, 24, and Rhain, 26, have only begun dating early this year but Noah is said to be head over heels with his new love.

The Facebook fan site “Matt Brown Fã Page” obtained recent photos of Noah and Rhain that hint of their engagement and wedding preparations. In one of the pictures, posted on June 2, Rhain is seen leaning on Noah for a selfie, with her left hand placed on his shoulder. Fans noted that she is wearing what seems to be an engagement ring.

In another photo, we get a closer look of the said ring. It’s a silver/white gold band with three diamond studs in the front. The next photo possibly confirms the engagement rumors. Rhain is holding up her left hand as she giddily smiles for the camera, clutching a wedding organizer book.

Last season ended with Noah asking Rhain to stay with them in the Bush. Rhain, originally from Oregon, was contemplating on moving back as she couldn’t find a job for her in Hoonah. Will Alaskan Bush People fans witness a wedding in the upcoming season?

In their reality docu-series, Noah is depicted as the most romantic of all Billy and Ami Brown’s sons. In one episode, he was even seen writing and singing a song about a past heartache. His first date with Rhain was aired on Alaskan Bush People Season 6 Episode 3. He described their first meeting as being something more than magical.

Usually people say that when you see a beautiful woman that you are instantly attracted to, something is magical there, that your heart will skip a beat. That’s not true. My heart wasn’t working. I guess it started beating.

Brown Family’s Darkest Hour

There has been much talk why Discovery is renewing Alaskan Bush People for another season so soon, as Season 6 has just wrapped up last March. Many are saying that this may be the Brown family’s last season on the air.

In the new season’s sneak peek, Matt Brown is heard grimly saying that their family is making many changes this year. The biggest of all is their decision to leave Alaska because his wife Ami is sick. What is in store for the Browns when they finally leave the Bush?

Questions will be answered when Alaskan Bush People Season 7 premieres this Wednesday, June 14 on Discovery.
