‘The Originals’: EP Reveals Huge Spoiler, One Character Might Be Headed To Mystic Falls, Find Out Who And Why

The Originals have a loyal following and many of them watched The Vampire Diaries when it was still on the air. Well, it turns out that executive producer Julie Plec accidentally revealed a huge spoiler that ties both shows together. One character might be headed to Mystic Falls. Find out who could be making a trip and why.

On the finale of The Vampire Diaries, Caroline Forbes (Candice King) moved forward with opening a school for special children. Basically, it was a school for kids like the Gemini twins, who are not like normal children. As fans of The Originals know, Hope Mikaelson (Summer Fontana) is not the typical child and is quite powerful. Is it possible that Hope might be headed to Mystic Falls to attend the special school? Now, it probably won’t happen this season since it is nearly over. However, it could possibly happen in Season 5.

According to Entertainment Weekly‘s radio channel, called EW Radio, Julie Plec let the huge spoiler slip out. Based on the last part of her comment, she knew she accidentally revealed too much, but it was too late to take it back.

“Alaric (Matt Davis) and Caroline are running the Salvatore School For The Young And Gifted where Hope Mikaelson… sh**, never mind. Keep watching…”

Fans shouldn’t be too shocked if Hope does go to Alaric and Caroline’s school. Earlier this season on The Originals, it was made clear that Hope feels lonely without other children around. She also doesn’t have a firm grip on controlling her powers. There is only so much Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), and the rest of the Mikaelson family can do. After all, they spend most of their time fighting villains like The Hollow. Not only would the special school help Hope harness her powers correctly and use them responsibly, but it would also probably keep her safe.

Earlier this season, Alaric appeared in an episode of The Originals. According to TV Guide, Matt Davis‘ character gave Hope an invitation to come to the school. So, perhaps they were already setting up the storyline for Hope to attend the Salvatore School For The Young And Gifted?

The Mikaelson family is going to have to do something to protect Hope. In the Season 4 finale of The Originals, The Hollow is going to step up her game. She will use Hope as a way to target the Mikaelson family. It was also teased that in the final episodes, Hayley will wonder what kind of future her daughter will have in New Orleans. All of these things point to signs that Hope might have to go somewhere else. Her safety is at risk and being Klaus’ daughter makes her a target.

“The Hollow ups the game in the most devastating way. It uses one of the Mikaelsons as the ultimate weapon against the family.”

According to Spoiler TV, the synopsis for The Originals Season 4 finale mentions that Hope’s life is in danger.

“In an explosive season finale, the Mikaelsons find themselves out of options as they face the all-powerful and un-killable entity known as The Hollow. With the life of Hope at stake, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) proposes a final, desperate plan – one that will force Klaus, Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Hayley, Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt), and Freya (Riley Voelkel) to make the greatest sacrifice their family has ever endured.”
