‘Shahs Of Sunset’ Star Mike Shouhed’s Divorce Is Finalized: ‘It’s Officially Done’
Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido finalized their divorce last fall only seven months after the couple said, “I do.” In November of 2015, Jessica filed the initial paperwork to dissolve the marriage. The former husband and wife share no children together. On Thursday, Shouhed revealed his status exclusively to E! News at the Susan G. Komen “Babes For Boobs” Live Bachelor Auction in Los Angeles.
“I am not married. I am single. It’s officially done.”
Shouhed said he and Parido are in contact with one another “once in a while” and added that he is currently dating other women. “It’s hard because I am still mending my broken heart from before.”
Luckily for Mike, plenty of women are willing to help mend his broken heart. “It seems like women in L.A. are on the prowl. It’s like a shortage of men here or something. My DM gets blown up.” However, Mike said he is hesitant to respond to some women saying, “Be like old school, stalker—show up at my door. Don’t send me nudes immediately like, ‘Hey, what’s up?'”
Shouhed stated that he doesn’t intend to be a bachelor forever as he has considered the possibility of remarrying. Mike said his advice for himself when it comes to relationships is “to be a good boy.”

Mike Shouhed confessed to his castmate Reza Farahan that after much speculation, he did, in fact, cheat on his estranged wife, Jessica Parido.
Mike opened up to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live about his reasons for concealing his infidelity from his wife, family, friends, and Bravo viewers.
“I wasn’t lying. I was having marital problems. It was between me and my wife, and I was trying to keep it under wraps, but being on reality TV, you don’t really have that freedom… Me and my wife were having problems. I don’t want the world to know, so I’m labeled a liar. I decided it’s time for me to come clean because [there was] so much speculation.”
Much of the “speculation” that Mike spoke of included false rumors that Jessica had desired to end the marriage earlier. There were also rumors about Jessica filing for divorce because Mike was gay.

Mike made it clear to viewers that his affair occurred before he was engaged to Jessica. “It was one affair before I’d even gotten engaged to Jessica, but it’s something she found out about after we got married.”
The Shahs of Sunset star ultimately showed remorse for cheating on Jessica and his failed attempt to cover up the affair.
“I regret what I did… The aftermath was me trying to protect my relationship with Jessica so people don’t pass judgment on either one of us.”
Nearly one year after the couple announced their split, Mike and Jessica had not finalized their divorce.
“We’re working through stuff… The beauty of this wonderful country that we live in, especially the state of California, [is] it’ll take you literally 25 minutes to go get married [and] it takes you six months to get divorced, seven months to get divorced. It’s a cooling off period and it’s been a journey. It’s very hard. It’s tedious and expensive.”
While the couple’s divorce was pending, Mike said he was going through the process “very carefully.” Shouhed said the initial separation was a very difficult process to go through.
Meanwhile, a Shahs of Sunset fan tweeted Jessica and said Bravo TV “tried to make it look like you are gonna appear in Shahs this season,” to which Jessica responded, “with 2 year old footage.”
Asa Soltan Rahmati, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Mike Shouhed, Reza Farahan, and Shervin Roohparvar have returned to Bravo TV to star in Shahs of Sunset for a sixth season.
