Spoilers Guide published the synopsis for The Originals Season 4 finale, titled “ The Feast Of All Sinners .” Previous spoilers revealed that Freya Mikaelson will come across a way to take away The Hollow’s power. It is a magical totem, but it has mysteriously gone missing. If they can’t find it, then how will they defeat the villain and save their family and New Orleans?

“In an explosive season finale, the Mikaelsons find themselves out of options as they face the all-powerful and un-killable entity known as The Hollow. With the life of Hope (guest star Summer Fontana) at stake, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) proposes a final, desperate plan – one that will force Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt), and Freya (Riley Voelkel) to make the greatest sacrifice their family has ever endured.”

What is interesting about the synopsis is that Kol Mikaelson (Nathaniel Buzolic) is not mentioned. In Season 4, Episode 11, he will receive an ultimatum from The Hollow. Spoilers tease that he will betray the family.

In the latest issue of TV Guide , executive producer Julie Plec talked about The Originals Season 4 finale. She revealed that the villain is going to intensify her efforts by focusing on the most vulnerable Mikaelson family member. As fans know, that is Klaus and Hayley’s daughter, Hope.

“The Hollow ups the game in the most devastating way. It uses one of the Mikaelsons as the ultimate weapon against the family.”

As with all season finale episodes, expect shocking moments, sorrow, and romantic reunions. Plec also hinted that two enemies would call a truce to combat a common foe. Plec teased that even though there will be some happy moments in The Originals Season 4 finale, fans should savor them.

“I still have a nice bit of time to destroy it all!”

In an interview with TV Line , Nathaniel Buzolic talked about Kol Mikaelson’s softer side in Season 4, Episode 11, which airs tomorrow night.

“If you love the divide between Kol and his siblings, you’ll probably love this episode. It’s an awesome episode where Kol finally gets to reconnect with Davina (Danielle Campbell) on some level, and when you see everything he’s willing to do for her, it goes to show how much he loves her. He’s also sort of returning a favor; she brought him back, so now he feels like it’s on him to help her and solve this huge dilemma in light of The Hollow being in New Orleans. There’s also a conflict of interest that comes up in the episode that I think the audience will enjoy.”

Buzolic was asked about Kol’s relationship with Davina. What is it about her that brings out a different side of the Mikaelson sibling?

“I think it’s just the overpowering message of love being able to change anyone or anything. If you look at our world, love is always what brings out the best in people. And when you see that in these characters — when they make a choice for love and not for themselves — the best of them comes out. It comes down to that age-old idea that love is the most important thing. That’s definitely what’s changed Kol, especially when you look at his history on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals . There was never any love there, so as soon as it’s introduced, it’s a complete swing. Now the question is: What will he do for love?”

What do you think of what Julie Plec said about The Originals Season 4 finale? Do you think Kol will betray the Mikaelson family due to his feelings for Davina?
