Hall Of Famer Begs Wrestling Gods To Give Him A Match Against Bray Wyatt
When it comes to professional wrestling, fans often have dream matches they’d love to see between current stars and those from the past. After Sting finally joined WWE, many thought they would finally see him take on The Undertaker, but it wasn’t meant to be. There are many who will never have the chance of happening, but one WWE Hall of Famer is begging Vince McMahon to let him return and have one match with Bray Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt had a pretty good feud with Randy Orton, but they were never evenly matched in mind games. Wyatt needs someone who has the same mindset and who can go face-to-face with him in promos as well as in the ring. While Jake “The Snake” Roberts may not be able to keep up physically, he still wants his shot.
Wrestling Inc. pointed out a tweet by Roberts where he actually begs WWE to give him one match against Bray Wyatt. All he wants is one match, but he wants it to be against the “Eater of Worlds.”
Jake Roberts hasn’t wrestled since 2015, according to the Internet Wrestling Database, and that was a tag team match. Before that, he had wrestled one match in 2011, three in 2007, one in 2006, and two in 2005. In the last 17 years, Roberts has only eight recorded matches, but he still wants one more.
DEAR WRESTLING GOD’S PLEASE GIFT ME A MATCH VS. BRAY WYATT. PROMISE TO WORK REALLY HARD AND SURE IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY INTERESTING. #WWE

He is reaching out to the “wrestling gods” for one more WWE match in his career, and he wants to take on Bray Wyatt. While it’s uncertain how well he can go in the ring, he is completely accurate that a feud between those two men would be “extremely interesting.”
There really aren’t a lot of gimmicks and characters in WWE that are reminiscent of The Undertaker, Papa Shango, and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. His feud against the Ultimate Warrior was classic for the mind games he played with him as he tormented and tortured him while leading up to their match.
If Roberts were allowed to come back to the WWE now, he could very possibly create one of the greatest programs with Bray Wyatt. They are both similar characters and it would be a great build-up, but the question remains: How good would the match be?
Roberts, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2014, has been cleaning up his life. He has worked diligently with Diamond Dallas Page to get sober and clean while making sure that his life is a good one and not consumed with drugs and alcohol.
He would probably be very committed to his promise of working very hard for this match with Bray Wyatt, but it is not known if WWE will give him that shot. It would certainly give Wyatt something to do as he has fallen to the side after winning the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber earlier this year.
A feud with Jake Roberts may very well rejuvenate his career and give him an extra spark that is needed right now on Monday Night Raw.
Jake “The Snake” Roberts is 62-years-old, and some think that may be far too old to ever step back into the ring, but that simply isn’t true. Big Van Vader is still wrestling at 62 despite a number of health issues. Many others have continued to wrestle into their ’60s and some even into their ’70s, but would Vince McMahon bring him back? There is very little doubt that a return of Roberts would make huge headlines, and a feud with Bray Wyatt would make dreams come true for many fans.
