Powerball fever is beginning to spread after last night’s winning numbers were drawn and no one won the grand prize. Held live at the Florida Lottery Studios in Tallahassee, there was great excitement for those who hoped to win the June 3, 2017, jackpot that had an estimated value of $338 million. No one won the jackpot, and it has rolled over to a whopping $375 million. More people are playing with each game and there’s a continued excitement that it might hit astronomical heights as it did in January 2016 when the jackpot reached $1.58 billion. Here are last night’s winning numbers along with the full video from the June 3 drawing.
Powerball Winning Numbers
June 3, 2017, Powerball winning numbers are 3, 9, 21, 41, 54, and the Powerball is 25. You may watch the drawing as it occurred live in the video playlist below.
Powerball drawings are held every Saturday and Wednesday with the next drawing to take place on June 7, 2017. Drawings are held live at 10:59 p.m., and you’ll want to check your local lottery for cut off times. Purchase your Powerball tickets early and make sure you have them in a safe place if you plan to play in the next Powerball game for your chance at the $375 million jackpot. No one has won the Powerball jackpot since April 1, and at this moment, the past two Powerball grand prize winners have yet to claim their prize.
The April 1 jackpot was for $60 million and on March 22, 2017, a winning ticket for the $155.2 million Powerball jackpot was sold. No one has come forward to claim either of those prizes. Each state sets a limit on how long a person has before their prize is forfeited. Hopefully, the winners are choosing to take their time before collecting their cash and aren’t in danger of losing their prize money. The last Powerball jackpot winners to collect their prize was on February 22, 2017, when Bohemian Financial, LLC won the $435.3 million grand prize. The winner of that jackpot formed the LLC in order to stay anonymous and opted for a lump sum, cash payout, according to reports by USA Today .

Though no one won the grand prize, there were several big winners in last night’s game. A Powerball ticket costs $2 and some states have the PowerPlay option. This is an added feature that costs $1 that will increase the amount of a match five winning ticket from $1 million to $2 million, and then multiplies the amount of other winning amounts by whatever PowerPlay factor was drawn. The PowerPlay featured doesn’t change the jackpot amount. In last night’s drawing, a Florida winner had matched all five white balls and used the PowerPlay feature for an instant win of $2 million.
Additionally, there were three match five winners who didn’t use the PowerPlay but won $1 million each. They are located in Florida, New York, and Ohio. Last night’s winning PowerPlay was 4x.
A total of 41 people won the match four and the Powerball. Of those, eight players added the PowerPlay feature to their game. The prize for winning the match four and the Powerball is $50,000. The eight players who added the PowerPlay feature multiplied their winnings by four and won $250,000 each.

Do you play Powerball? If so, do you play regularly or only when the jackpot reaches a certain amount? Many people who play faithfully use a system, such as playing the same numbers repeatedly or let the computer pick their numbers by using the QuickPick option. Are you going to play this Wednesday’s Powerball game? What would you do if you won the Powerball jackpot? Do you have any ideas how you would spend the money? Feel free to leave your comments below.
