Are T. I. And Tiny Airing Their Differences Over Split On Social Media?
T.I. and his ex-wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, who ended their marriage in the finale of their VH1 reality TV show, may be trading jabs via social media, according to reports.
T.I., 36, and Tiny, 41, were married for seven years and they have six children together. The couple officially separated in an emotional final episode of their TV show T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, which aired at the end of May. T.I. and Tiny ended things amid accusations of infidelity.
News of the separation of T.I. and Tiny started making rounds late last year after the latter filed for a divorce. However, according to Hollywood Life, people working behind the scenes of the couple’s show claim that they have been growing apart for years now.
On June 2, T.I. posted a photo with a quote on Instagram which reads, ” I walked away because you were too busy finding faults in me, while I was too busy overlooking yours.” A day earlier, T.I. had also posted a cryptic message that says, “No longer on bad terms with anyone. I’m declaring it. dislike me by yourself. I wish you the best.”
Although the rapper did not specify who the posts were directed at, some have concluded that Tiny was the target. While many media outlets, including Celebrity Insider, reported that Tiny was quick to respond with a post of her own on Instagram, it appears that the Grammy-winning singer and songwriter is yet to reply. Tiny’s Instagram text which has been featured as her response to T.I. was apparently posted on May 22.
In the alleged reply, Tiny posted a photo with a quote on Instagram which reads “I am not perfect but I am solid.”
T.I. and Tiny seem to be handling their divorce in different ways. While there are reports that Tiny, who instigated the divorce proceedings, is still heartbroken over their split, T.I. appears to have moved on.
“Tiny is still struggling coming to terms with the ending of her marriage with T.I., she is heartbroken. She filled because he checked out of the marriage, not the other way around,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“She is torn because after everything she has been put through with TI. deep in her heart, she still doesn’t want to leave him but at the same time she knows she can’t stay in a marriage if he has not loyalty or integrity. Tiny has been forced into a bad situation where she has no choice but to move forward with her decision to end things for good and move on.”
T.I. is currently on tour promoting his newest album US or Else, and he reportedly has a new girlfriend, Bernice Burgos. T.I. is said to have been showering the 37-year-old model with expensive gifts.
There have been rumors that Burgos was the reason that T.I. and Tiny split. However, Tiny dispelled the gossips when she appeared on The Wendy Williams Show. She insisted that Burgos was not a determining factor leading to her divorce from T.I.
Zonnique Pullins, T.I. and Tiny’s 21-year-old daughter, recently said her parents still have a good relationship despite their separation. Zonnique, who is a musician and part of the cast of a new TV show named Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, added that her parents have been through a lot of a hard time together and she has learned to stay away from their problems.
“Well, our relationship hasn’t changed,” Zonnique said in reference to herself and her dad, T.I. “I feel like they’ve been married, to me, since they met each other. They’ve just been so in love from the beginning.”
