‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Andre DiMera Gets A Marriage Proposal, Thaao Penghlis Reveals Who And Why
Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal there will be a shocking marriage proposal. Andre DiMera, who doesn’t have a girlfriend that fans know of, is asked for his hand in marriage. In an interview, actor Thaao Penghlis revealed who asks Andre for such a huge commitment and the business-related reason why it might be necessary.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Thaao Penghlis discussed his upcoming storyline. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) suggests that they get married. Even though some fans have wondered why the two have never paired up, they have never been romantically linked. So, why does she propose marriage? It has nothing to do with love and everything to do with DiMera Enterprises.
As fans know, Kate’s life revolves around business. Even though she has been in love before, nearly everything she does centers around business, money, or power. Her proposal to Andre is no different. With Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and other Salem residents missing, questions are going to be raised at an upcoming board meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to review Chad’s performance as CEO and determine if he should keep the position.
On Days Of Our Lives, Chad DiMera is stranded on an island with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Lani Price (Sal Stowers), JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith), and Paul Narita (Christopher Sean). They have no way to contact anyone and have to survive until somebody finds them. Back in Salem, nobody knows what happened to the private jet. They have no idea if the group is dead or alive. Once Andre finds out Chad is missing, he tells Kate.
“With Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) death, Chad is really Andre’s only family. Kate adores Chad. He is like a son to her.”
Lauren Koslow explained why Kate proposes marriage to Andre. She is afraid of what might happen if someone else is appointed to run DiMera Enterprises. There is a possibility that an outsider will break the company up. Even though Andre is a DiMera, Penghlis said that the board is not comfortable with his past. Due to his history, the board does not want him running the company.
So, Kate puts on her thinking cap and comes up with a solution that will benefit both Kate and Andre. If they get married, then she will become a DiMera. Thaao commented that Kate surprises Andre with the proposal.
“It’s a planned marriage manufactured by Kate.”
If there is one thing that Kate is good at, it’s running companies. However, will Andre agree with all of her decisions if the board agrees to make her CEO of DiMera Enterprises? Will there be any major conflict between the two? Plus, how will Chad feel about the business arrangement when he returns to Salem?
As viewers know, Andre and Kate have no problem making shady business deals in order to succeed. Even though Chad was on board with some of them, he prefers to run an honest business. Will Kate and Andre’s decisions make Chad angry when he comes back? These are all questions that will be answered in the next few weeks. Until then, fans will have to wait and see what kind of crazy storylines the writers have cooked up for Andre and Kate.
