Pregnant Lauren Conrad Expecting Baby Boy, Makes ‘It’s A Guy’ Announcement
Lauren Conrad is expecting her first child with husband William Tell. The former reality star, known for her roles on Laguna Beach and The Hills, is very excited welcome her first baby and recently announced that she is having a boy!
Conrad posted the joyous news on her Instagram page on Friday. She explained that she was thrilled to find an “adorable birth announcement,” and she thought it would be the perfect way to reveal the sex of her baby to her six million Instagram followers. According to her website, the baby announcement that Lauren found was about the birth of her father!
“I found this adorable birth announcement while helping my Grandma move and I thought it was the perfect way to share that William and I are expecting a baby boy,” Conrad wrote. She included a photo of the announcement, which showed a drawing of a little boy driving a car with the caption, “It’s A Guy.”
Conrad, who recently launched a beach collection, married her beau, William Tell, in September 2014, after dating him for two years. In January, Conrad shared her pregnancy news with the world. Over the past few months, she has shared very minimal details about her pregnancy, but she did reveal that she and Tell went on a babymoon sometime in March. She posted the picture below of her growing belly and a “blended lemonade.”
On Saturday, May 20, Conrad celebrated her baby shower with her closest family and friends. She posted a couple of pictures on Instagram, giving a shoutout to her besties for throwing her an awesome shower and sharing a picture of her cake, which was classic and very Lauren. The cake was topped with wildflowers and blackberries (see it below).
“The sneak peek… shows the mama-to-be and her guests in front of a sparkling blue pool and sprawling hillside. The women, all wearing printed summer dresses and big sunglasses, flank Conrad, whose baby bump was on full display in a maxi-length striped dress with ruffled sleeves,” reported Brides, calling the shower “whimsical.”

Aside from preparing for motherhood, Conrad has been a busy bee, keeping up with all of her projects. Not only does she have a super popular clothing line and the recently released beach line, but she also has a wedding line (consisting of outfits for bridesmaids and wedding guests) called Paper Crown. As if that wasn’t enough, Conrad also finds time to blog and to keep her fans up-to-date with the latest clothes, menu ideas, and DIY crafts on her website. Surely, adding a baby to the mix will be different, but Conrad will likely handle it beautifully. There’s really nothing this girl can’t do.
Speaking of her blog, Conrad has been posting a bit more on the baby front, with blogs about nursing attire and the best diaper bags. Her family section has a more special meaning now and will only continue to flourish once she welcomes her little guy. Conrad will be giving birth this summer — perhaps sometime in early July. She has not revealed her exact due date or any other details about her pregnancy. She hasn’t hinted at a possible name, either.
Conrad is in good Hills company when it comes to having a baby. Her former co-stars Whitney Port and Heidi Montag Pratt are also pregnant and will welcome babies this year!
