‘Little People, Big World’: Jacob Roloff Meets Baby Jackson For The First Time, See The Sweet Moment
Everyone in the Little People, Big World family is showering baby Jackson with love–even Jacob Roloff, Zach’s youngest brother. Jacob is currently out on a prolonged road trip, but it looks like he took the time to go home to meet his new nephew.
The sweet moment was captured on Instagram Stories by Jacob’s girlfriend Isabel. In the photo, Jacob is smiling as he cuddles with baby Jackson. The first Little People, Big World grandchild is swaddled in blankets and sucking a pacifier. Isabel pointed out a striking and adorable similarity between the two boys–their name both starts with J!
“Baby J + Baby J”
This is truly an amazing moment for the Roloff family, especially since Jacob has not been spending as much time with them now. It’s been a while that LPBW fans have seen Jacob with the family since he has quit filming for Little People, Big World around two seasons ago.
Last February, Jacob stirred up more controversy when he published a blog post that slammed his family’s show and TLC. The 20-year-old exposed their reality show as being “staged.” He also stated that he’s “lucky he got out” of the entire industry. However, he also said that he has no bitterness towards his family.

Jacob has just recently started to film in front of the cameras again, but not for Little People, Big World. He and girlfriend Isabel are documenting their travels and posting the videos on his YouTube channel entitled “Rock & Roloff.” He has said that being in control of the videos’ content is liberating for him.
Because of this, Jacob has been slammed by the press as the Roloff “black sheep.” However, LPBW family seemed to understand him. When he decided to leave to go on a road trip, big brother Zach even took to Instagram to say that he was proud of his youngest brother.
Amy Roloff also commented on one of Jacob’s travel photos with a loving message for her son.
“I hope you always remember and know God is good. Love you forever and always!”
Last month, Amy posted a photo with her, Jacob, and Isabel together. She revealed that his youngest son actually stayed with her for two whole weeks before heading out on the road. She also shared that Jacob promised to be back once Zach and Tori’s baby is born. Now, Jacob has fulfilled his promise, proving that there’s really no bad blood among the Roloff household.
Jacob isn’t the only uncle who’s lavishing baby Jackson with attention. Jeremy, Zach’s twin brother, is also a proud first-time uncle. Zach and Tori shared that Jeremy and wife Audrey gave cute gifts to add to Jackson’s nursery: a meaningful crib sheet and an adorable hooded onesie.
It is only natural that Jackson is getting everyone’s attention. After all, he is the first grandchild of the Roloff family. Just this week, Zach and Tori revealed that he was born with achondroplasia, the same type of dwarfism that Zach and Amy have.
In a previous episode of Little People, Big World, Zach and Tori discussed their fears for their then unborn child, who had 50 percent chance of being a little person. The couple concluded that they will love their baby, “no matter what pops out.”
For Zach especially, raising baby Jackson is like reliving his childhood and he’s ready to face the challenge of parenting.
“He might have to take two steps for everyone else with one step. But hopefully, we’ll be able to raise him in a way where that won’t stop him.”
Meanwhile, it seems like Little People, Big World fans will be seeing a lot more of Jacob Roloff in the coming days. The Roloff family will be making a lot of major milestones this year. Aside from baby Jackson, another grandchild is on the way. Jeremy and Audrey’s baby girl is due this September. Their sister Molly is also getting married this August.
