Reese Witherspoon To Sing On Michael Buble Album
Reese Witherspoon will be showing off her vocal talents on Michael Buble’s new album.
Rumors about the duet have been swirling for the last few months. Buble confirmed the rumors today on the British talk show Daybreak saying that he was “thrilled” to work with Witherspoon.
“By all accounts it would be true … I just really am a big fan, and so myself and my camp, we wanted to do this with her, and we were thrilled that she was excited about it too.”
Reese Witherspoon is best known for her acting talents but she has shown off her voice in the past. Witherspoon won an Oscar in 2005 for her role in Walk The Line. The actress, who played June Carter Cash, sang all of her own songs for the movie.
Witherspoon joked at the time that she wouldn’t only do an album if T Bone Burnett, who acted as her vocal coach for Walk The Line, was involved. Witherspoon said:
“You know, if T Bone Burnett produced the album, I’d be great. T Bone’s responsible for every song that came out of me.”
Buble did not say if Burnett was involved in the new album.
