Scheana Marie Engaged? ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Reportedly ‘Pushing’ For A Ring

Scheana Marie may have recently gone through a divorce with Mike Shay, but that doesn’t mean that she’s not already thinking about her potential future. She started dating her new guy, Robert Valletta, fairly quickly after her split from Shay, and now, new reports indicate that she is already thinking about getting engaged.

According to Radar Online, the 32-year-old Vanderpump Rules star is looking to the future. The report indicates that Scheana is ready to take the next step in her relationship

“Scheana wants a ring from Robert. She’s super into him,” shared a source. However, the source goes on to say that Valletta is not ready to get engaged just yet and that he is just focused on his career right now. Although their relationship seems strong, it is not something that Valletta wants to pursue at this time.

“He wants to focus on his TV shows [and he] doesn’t want to go there [with her yet],” the source added.

Scheana Marie and Mike Shay finalized their divorce this past month after filing paperwork in February. According to the report, Scheana was forced to pay her ex-husband $50,000 in the settlement. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, which is something that was discussed (albeit briefly) on the Vanderpump Rules reunion show.

SUR boss lady, Lisa Vanderpump, had said that not having the paperwork sorted out before tying the knot wasn’t the best idea. Scheana Marie said that it was not something she was thinking about because she simply never saw herself separating from Shay, never mind actually getting a divorce from him.

As for the next season of Vanderpump Rules, Radar Online reports that Valletta won’t be filming with the rest of the cast. While there is a chance that he will make an appearance, he is not going to be a regular by any stretch.

“Valletta was set to appear on the Bravo show, but decided he wanted to pull out of filming due to the drama. Meanwhile, her nemesis Stassi Schroeder’s boyfriend Patrick Meagher is set to appear on season six,” Radar Online reports.

Having a significant other appear on the show has not worked out great for most of the Vanderpump Rules cast. However, many of the SUR employees have dated each other and not really had much of a choice. Since Valletta doesn’t have any association with SUR, there really isn’t a point to him being on the show — except to give Scheana a storyline and to allow fans to see just how happy she is after her divorce.

As far as Mike Shay is concerned, he had been appearing on Vanderpump Rules more and more and the couple actually got engaged on the show — and had their wedding filmed for television. The former couple leaned on Lisa Vanderpump quite a bit for their nuptials, and their wedding aired during Season 3 of the popular Bravo show.

Looking into the future, Scheana Marie seems ready to just move on. Back in March, she talked to InTouch Weekly about finding love again after heartbreak.

“He brought a light back to my life. We dated on and off 10 years ago. We were talking over the holidays and I told him about my divorce. Then we hung out one night and just hit it off,” Scheana Marie said of Valletta. “Rob is fun and adventurous, and he makes me laugh. I feel like we’re equals. He owns a production company and has a new show coming out,” she added.

When asked about getting married again, Scheana didn’t say that it was out of the question — but she did say that she’d do a beach wedding, having already done “the princess wedding.”
