‘Final Fantasy Brave Exvius’ Celebrates Anniversary With Fan Festa World Tour

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is celebrating a successful first year, as more than 20 million players around the world have downloaded the game since its debut. In celebration, Square Enix and gumi are putting on special Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Fan Festa events for the game’s global fan base.

The Fan Festa world tour is currently scheduled to bring the FFBE festivities to five cities in France, Korea, Taiwan, and the U.S. in a series of events beginning in July and continuing through the end of the year. The

The schedule is as follows:

  • July – Paris, France
  • September – Taipai, Taiwan
  • October – New York City, U.S.
  • November – Busan, Korea
  • December – Los Angeles, U.S.

Presently, registration and detailed event information are only available for the FFBE Fan Festa being held in Paris. The first Fan Festa is happening at The Yoyo in the Palais de Tokyo on July 8. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the event starting at 6 p.m. and running until 9:30 p.m. local time. Admission is free but limited to 350 fans.

To get a ticket to the event, fans in Europe, as well as the U.S. and Canada, must register on the event’s website using their Square Enix Members account. Registration for the ticket lottery ends on Sunday, June 4 at 11:59 p.m. (local time in Paris). Free event tickets will be randomly given out in mid-June to the lottery winners.

Although fans in the U.S. and Canada can enter the lottery for a free ticket, they may want to wait until details for the Fan Festas in Los Angeles and New York City are revealed, since getting to Paris and paying for accommodations is the responsibility of each ticket holder. It’s also worth noting that the Paris event’s activities are only going to be presented in the French language, according to a note on the event website.

The first Fan Festa event is to be hosted by producers Kei Hirono and Hiroki Fujimoto. Activities for the evening include a developer discussion, Q&A session, a “FFBE national census quiz tournament,” and new announcements for the game. Fans can also participate in an art contest, character popularity contest, and a “game-related activity” that involves challenges set by the producers.

Just for coming, attendees are guaranteed some exclusive event swag along with a chance at some contests and giveaways. Pictured on the event website are a Brave Exvius t-shirt and bag, but the collectibles offered may change.

Fans in attendance also have the opportunity to purchase Final Fantasy merchandise, including the global edition of the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius The Art Works book. Although pricing for the artbook is to be specified at each Fan Festa location, the edition sold in Japan is priced at 3,000 Yen (approximately $27 USD).
