Vicki Gunvalson Twitter: ‘RHOC’ Star Slammed Over Memorial Day Post
Vicki Gunvalson has kept a low profile on social media recently while she’s filming the newest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She’s the longest-standing housewife of all the shows, and she has been through quite the emotional roller coaster while filming. Gunvalson claimed she was happily married when she started filming, but she ended up divorcing her husband, Donn, and then get involved with Brooks Ayers. Brooks completely ruined her reputation and even influenced her reputation in the insurance industry.
While Vicki has worked hard to regain her reputation, she’s still facing criticism on social media. So when Gunvalson decided to share a Memorial Day post on social media, she didn’t seem to care that people weren’t happy with her post. According to a new tweet, Vicki Gunvalson is now being slammed with her decision to write “happy” in her Memorial Day post.
“Remembering all the fallen soldiers this weekend. Happy Memorial Day,” Vicki Gunvalson revealed on Twitter while sharing a picture of a soldier with the American flag.
“You’re not supposed to say Happy.. there is nothing about Memorial Day that is happy,” one person wrote to response to Vicki Gunvalson’s post on Twitter, while another person chimed in, “I feel it may be inappropriate to say Happy Memorial Day. We are talking about men and women who lost their lives.”

In fact, the majority of the replies to Vicki’s tweet were negative. They all agreed that today isn’t about being happy or celebrating. It’s a time to remember, reflect, and be thankful for people’s service to the country and to its citizens.
“Happy is not the correct word for a somber day of reflection,” another person wrote to Vicki Gunvalson, while a fourth person added, “Not a single thing ‘happy’ about those people who died fighting for your country.”
But one person was thankful that Gunvalson took the time to recognize the fallen soldiers.
“So thankful for their service & sad for their ultimate sacrifice. Thank you, Vicki, for sharing this touching picture. God Bless,” a single positive person wrote on social media, thanking Gunvalson for thinking of the fallen soldiers.
Of course, Vicki Gunvalson has been dealing with negative attention over the past week, as some people seemed to believe that Gunvalson had met up with Brooks Ayers in Cabo while she was on a trip with her friends. Her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Meghan King Edmonds was also on the trip, and she’s not a fan of Brooks.

For some reason, many people believe that Vicki Gunvalson had met up with Ayers during her trip to Cabo, and they wanted some answers. It’s uncertain where the rumor came from, but many people assumed she had met up with him in secrecy.
“Why would I? He’s moved on and so have I! We broke up 2 years ago,” Gunvalson wrote after learning of the rumor that she had met up with Ayers, to which one person wrote, “You definitely were with that scum trying to hide.”
“Excuse me?? I was with my girlfriends and he was NOT there! Get ur facts straight,” Vicki replied to the person on Twitter.
And this is an example of the type of messages she’s been receiving lately. On her Twitter timeline, Vicki is often seen defending herself and creating distance from Ayers. She has been dating a new man for over a year and it sounds like things are going well with him. No word on whether he was in Mexico with her just a few weeks ago.
