‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Splits From Husband, Gets Revenge Makeover

Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell is best known for her role on the breakout hit Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The mother of two, at the time, lived in a tiny house with Mama June, her husband, Sugar Bear, and her three half sisters, Pumpkin, Chubbs and Honey Boo Boo. During the reality series, Anna moved out with her soon-to-be husband, Michael Cardwell.

But it looks like it wasn’t happily ever after for Anna and Michael. Instead, the pair split last month and are working out custody arrangements of their one-year-old daughter, Kylee. Anna has a four-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, from a previous relationship, whom she gave birth to on an episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Allegedly, the young mother of two wrote on her private Facebook account that the pair would only be separated temporarily.

“It’s just a lot on both of us and [we] have a lot to think about. But this is only temporary right now. I love him and always will no matter where this goes,” she supposedly wrote.

Since her break-up, she has moved in with her former stepfather, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson and his new wife, Jennifer Lamb. Sugar Bear has said she can stay for as long as she needs.

Anna Cardwell is estranged from her mother, Mama June Shannon, partially due to a scandal that rocked TLC and shut Honey Boo Boo off the airways. Although both women have a different side of the story, Mama June was accused of dating a man who had molested Anna Cardwell when she was younger. Due to that, she and June ceased speaking. Anna had also sued her mother for allegedly not giving her the money she was owed from the series.

Mama June, who recently underwent a 300 lb weight loss on Mama June: From Not to Hot, stated that the issues came down to jealousy and told Wendy Williams that Anna is typically not interested in speaking to her unless she is asking for money.

“She’s had opportunities to get on the show and I think that for her, it’s more of ‘Okay, Mama is on TV and I’m not part of it, I’m not getting any money off of it.’ So it’s more like a jealousy thing,” Mama June said.

“We really don’t talk,” she added. “She goes through phases like that where we don’t talk and then she will want me to come meet Kaitlyn.”

Anna has had some pretty harsh words for Mama June, particularly in light of her weight loss and television show, stating that she only did it to get more famous.

“I think she did it just to be more famous. I don’t think she did it just for her because she never mentioned anything ever before about getting plastic surgery.

“I think Mama did get herself out there to get another show. That’s my opinion on that. I don’t think she did it or anything for herself. If she would have done it for herself, she would have tried to lose the weight a long time ago,” Anna Cardwell stated about her mother’s new look and TV show.

Mama June, however, contends that that wasn’t the case at all and that she did the show to get healthier. She also claims that she would like Alana and Pumpkin to lose weight as well and is shopping a weight loss series for Alana aka Honey Boo Boo.

Anna Cardwell has taken the opportunity as a single woman to grab some totally new hair, and she took to Instagram to show off a new light brown ‘do, which is pretty different from her usual brown locks.
