‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Which ‘General Hospital’ Star Is Headed To Salem?

Days of Our Lives spoilers have arrived and you’ll never guess who’s coming to Salem. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, a General Hospital alum might switch soaps. Can you guess who’s about to make the big switch?

Here’s a small hint — this person had an existing storyline on Days of Our Lives before they went to General Hospital. Any guesses? If you guessed actor Michael Easton you might be right. Although we don’t know if this is a done deal yet, there are rumors that he might return to the soap as Tanner Scofield. On General Hospital he played Dr. Finn, but longtime fans might remember his storyline on Days of Our Lives which ran from 1990-1992.

Days of Our Lives spoilers state that head writer Ron Carlivati really wants the show to do well after the soap has seen a decline in ratings. As the Inquisitr reported, the new head writer thinks that fans want a lighter Days of Our Lives instead of the dark turns it’s taken in the past.

While the writers’ room is wrapping up existing storylines it’s making great strides to get the show back on track. Not only have the fans complained about the storylines but some of their regular actors are leaving the show, including Arianne Zucker, who at one point was a fan favorite. Now, Carlivati is doing everything he can to bring viewership up for the veteran soap. Does that start with the rehiring of Michael Easton? It might. The nostalgic returns to Days of Our Lives doesn’t end with Easton.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that actress Allison Sweeney is set to reprise her role as Sam, while actor Chandler Massey will also return to the show as Will. Celeb Dirty Laundry seems to think this might be enough leverage for Easton to return as Tanner.

If you don’t remember Tanner, he was part of Salem’s private investigators and as it stands it looks like John, Steve, and Paul could use another member on their team. If Days of Our Lives could bring Easton back they might get a bump in viewers from fans of General Hospital because he’s a really popular actor over on that soap. So what kind of pull does Days have with the actor? Well, for starters, there’s too many storylines going on at GH, so if the soap promises him that he’ll have a major storyline that may convince him to switch it up.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers news, Tripp has a plan he’s working on against Kayla. It’s going to be a big revenge plan in hopes to bring down his mother’s killer. That said, we all know Kayla didn’t kill Ava and that Tripp should actually set his sights on his half-brother Joey. Miraculously, he hasn’t figured out that his own sibling killed his biological mother. Spoilers state that if Tripp pursues this path he might be headed for some bad news down the line.

Does this mean he will eventually find out about his half brother? Once he does find out about Joey, will he carry out his plan? Better yet, will Kayla escape whatever horrible fate he has in store for her? There are so many unanswered questions from this particular storyline. It can really go in a few directions. It seems like Days of Our Lives fans are really loving Tripp as a character, so it looks like the writers are beginning to right their wrongs
