Meghan Markle’s Sister Calls Royals ‘Snobs’ For Banning ‘Suits’ Actress From Pippa Middleton’s Wedding

Pippa Middleton’s wedding got controversial when Prince Harry’s girlfriend was not allowed to enter the church. Meghan Markle’s half-sister has spoken about it, and she does not have kind words for the royals.

The wedding followed a “no ring, no bring” policy, which meant only married couples were allowed to attend the wedding. The Suits actress was an exception on the invitation list, as she was invited even though she is neither engaged nor married to Prince Harry.

While it was previously reported that Meghan Markle was the only exceptional invitee at Pippa Middleton’s wedding, James Middleton took his girlfriend, Donna Air, to the wedding. However, Markel was not allowed to enter the church. She was, in fact, kept 100 miles away while the church services were underway. Interestingly, the invitees also include the royal kids, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George.

Markle’s half-sister, Samantha, was appalled to find how the actress was treated at the wedding. Samantha Markle believes it was in “very poor taste” for the royal family to keep Meghan excluded from the wedding. She believes her sister should have been present at the wedding. Samantha also gave reasons why.

“She’s classy, and her dress was designed as a one-off,” Samantha said.

According to reports, the Suits actress wore a maroon backless gown when she attended the evening party. Meghan Markle’s sister seemed really offended as she exclusively spoke to Radar Online. She used harsh words for the royals for ignoring her sister at the ceremony.

“To ignore Meghan at the ceremony and for photographs is pure snobbery.”

Samantha believes things would have been different if Princes Diana was alive. She would never have treated her son’s true love like that. Meghan Markle’s sister believes Princess Di too would have been “appalled” to see how the actress was treated. Samantha said she was supporting her sister, even though they had their differences. She called Meghan a victim and stood by her, although there were times when the two sisters disagreed with each other on some issues.

There are strong speculations at the moment that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the next to get married. Even British bookmakers believe that Prince Harry might propose to his girlfriend soon. The prince has been dating the divorcee for a year now. According to reports, he was the “perfect gentleman” with his girlfriend at Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception. However, the prince apparently does not want to “hurry things” before he pops the question to the Suits actress.

Majesty’s Ingrid Seward told People that Prince Harry would like his girlfriend to “acclimatize to it all.” The actress needs to get used to so many different things, as it is a totally different world to her.

“He’s really in love with her, but wants to give it his best crack.”

Meanwhile, not everybody is impressed when Meghan Markle is only related to Prince Harry all the time. Baywatch movie actress Priyanka Chopra, also known for being the lead actress in Quantico, apparently took offense when Wendy Williams referred to Markle as Prince Harry’s girlfriend. According to Vogue, Chopra was quick to remind Williams that her friend was much more than that.

Meghan Markle seems to find a lot of support from her near and dear ones at the moment. Fans are still eager to find out when she becomes a member of the royal family.
