Tamar Braxton: Watch Adrienne Bailon Throw Major Shade At Former Friend On ‘The Real’ [Video]
Tamar Braxton was fired from The Real more than a year ago, but her former co-stars are still being accused of throwing some major shade at the singer.
Adrienne Bailon is now being accused of throwing out a serious diss in her former friend’s direction as their year-long feud continues as she appeared to slam the singer on the talk show.
Viewers were quick to accuse Bailon of dissing Braxton on the daytime talk show this week after Adrienne claimed that she “has an issue” with people believing that only those who are loud and over-the-top when expressing their opinions are “keeping it real.”
“I have an issue with people thinking that every time someone is loud or boisterous or negative, that that’s them keeping it real,” Adrienne said while her co-hosts Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, and Tamera Mowry-Housley looked on.
“Why does it always have to be that because you’re all over the place and being loud and making a lot of noise that that’s the truth and that’s real?” Bailon continued. “Why can’t keeping it real be classy? Why can’t keeping it real be let me hold my peace and move on?”
Adrienne did not mention Tamar by name during her statement on the daytime talk show, though fans were quick to accuse the singer and actress of subtly throwing serious shade at Braxton as Love and Mowry-Housley noticeably looked down and appeared a little uncomfortable at the desk as Bailon described someone who sounds a lot like her former friend.

“We Knows UR Referencing [Tamar]. We can read between the lines!” Twitter user @DonnaAllenMusic hit back at the Real co-hosts, to which @preciousjdiva added of the Braxton shade, “I agree they just keep throwing shade! So wrong.”
“Seems like shade was been thrown at former Co Host [Tamar],” @RWarrenLady then wrote in response.
Notably, Braxton has thrown a whole lot of shade at her former friends in pretty candid ways on multiple occasions over the past few months. Meanwhile, the remaining hosts have all opted to stay pretty quiet about the drama as they continue on without her.
Tamar is also well-known for being a little loud and over-the-top when it comes to expressing her opinions. The Daily Mail reported last year that it was Braxton’s boisterous personality that allegedly got her fired from the show.
An insider alleged at the time that a big factor in Braxton’s firing was her animated reaction to losing a game while the hosts were filming, adding that Tamar was supposedly “becoming unbearable to work with.”
The site also claimed that The Real’s producers did extensive research into how the show’s viewers reacted to Braxton and claimed that some allegedly found her to be too “ghetto.”
“Most educated and working women found her to be ‘ghetto’ and that her aggressive eye-rolling, neck-rolling and the smacking of her mouth were indicative of ‘stereotypical behavior that African American women have worked years to overcome,'” said a source of Tamar’s animated gestures, though The Real never confirmed the claims.
Bailon’s possible shade also comes after Braxton made it very clear that she’s no longer friends with her former co-hosts over the past few months, even claiming in December that Adrienne and her co-stars may have had something to do with her firing despite their constant denials.
The feud has only continued since, as Page Six reported earlier this month that Loni was allegedly so desperate to avoid Tamar when she, Adrienne, Jeannie, and Tamera all attended the Daytime Emmy Awards on May 1 that she stayed backstage at the award show so that she didn’t have to sit next to her former friend.
“Loni hasn’t seen or spoken to Tamar since she implied Loni got her fired,” claimed a source, adding that the comedian’s seat in the audience was right next to Tamar and her sister Toni Braxton. “Loni was so upset that she stayed in the green room until it was time to present.”
However, an insider denied the claims, alleging that Loni was simply more “comfortable” staying backstage and was not trying to avoid Tamar amid their nasty feud.
