‘The Originals’ Season 4, Episode 10 Spoilers: Freya And Hayley’s Risky Mission To Save A Loved One

The Originals Season 4, Episode 10 is titled “Phantomesque.” After the troubling and confusing events of last week, what will happen with the characters? The synopsis reveals that Freya (Riley Voelkel) will enlist Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) to join her on a risky journey. What will happen and what exactly is the deal with Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies)?

The biggest question fans have about The Originals right now is if Elijah is dead, alive, or somewhere in between. Can he be saved or is he gone forever? Is he actually stuck in the pendant? Hopefully, viewers can get answers to these questions.

According to Spoiler TV, the synopsis for “Phantomesque” has been released. While Elijah is not mentioned, Daniel Gillies is directing Season 4, Episode 10.

“After the devastating events of the previous episode, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) requests that his estranged siblings Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) and Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) return home to stand by their family against The Hollow. Meanwhile, Freya recruits Hayley for a dangerous journey that will put both their lives at risk – but may be the sole means of saving someone they love. Elsewhere, tensions rise when Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) leads a hunt for The Hollow – putting him on a collision course with the person he was least prepared to face. Finally, as Kol continues to mourn the loss of Davina (Danielle Campbell), he is forced to consider the lengths he’d go to see her again.”

An extended promo was released for The Originals Season 4, Episode 10. With Elijah laying in a coffin, Klaus Mikaelson promises to find a way to bring his brother back. Freya explains to Hayley that when the pendant shattered, Elijah’s mind shattered with it. It seems that Freya might have an idea, but it is dangerous.

Hayley is seen laying down and she suddenly opens her eyes. In the next scene, Freya walks down a hallway with bright white walls. Could she and Hayley be trying to enter Elijah’s mind? Freya says that he could be anywhere in 1,000 years of memories. Then, Hayley is seen walking down a similar hallway, except she comes across a door. She warns that they need to be careful because Elijah’s mind is fragile.

At the end of The Originals extended promo clip, behind an old red door, Elijah might be found. However, it isn’t the present-day Elijah that everyone recognizes. It is from his past and there is something haunting and scary in his eyes. If Hayley finds him, will he even recognize her if his mind is stuck in the past? By the look in his eyes, his mind might be playing an old memory in front of him. Let’s hope that Hayley or Freya can pull Elijah back into the real world.

It is possible that Hope Mikaelson (Summer Fontana) might be able to help. She is powerful and last week, Freya was having trouble figuring out if Elijah was in the pendant or not. That is, until Hope walked in the room and helped her. Even though Klaus and Hayley won’t want to put their daughter in danger, she seems to be the most powerful one in the family. She might be the only one strong enough to bring Elijah back.
