Beyonce Shows Off Massive Baby Bump Covered In Henna Tattoos At African-Themed Baby Shower [Photos]
A heavily pregnant Beyonce showed off a massive baby bump at her second baby shower bash held at her Beverly Hills home on Saturday to celebrate the upcoming birth of her twins. The baby shower, dubbed “Carter Push Party,” was attended by relatives, friends, and A-list guests. It was a mini Destiny’s Child reunion party as the guests included Beyonce’s ex-Destiny’s Child bandmates, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
Destiny’s Child split up in 2005, but they have kept in touch since then.
The guests arrived at Beyonce’s Beverly Hills resident at around 2 p.m. They were greeted at the entrance by letters in gold balloon spelling out “Carter Push Party” and “Twinning,” according to E! News.
The 35-year-old superstar stripped down to a bikini and long skirt that mimicked an African tribal outfit. The outfit displayed her massively swollen belly.
The party was organized to entertain both adult and children attendees. There was a pool party for the children, with pool rafts, plenty of lemonade and toys to keep them busy. There were also lifeguards to watch over them. A separate bash was organized for Beyonce’s A-list guests inside the house.

“The party was very family friendly with Blue Ivy and lots of her friends running around the grounds of the estate,” an insider told E! News. “There was a huge tent erected on the property where most of the shower took place.”
The decor, according to the source, was African-themed, with colorful floor pillows and rugs in the seating area.
“The tables had lanterns, wooden elephants and pink and white roses for centerpieces.”
There were also “henna tattoo artist and African dancers and drummers walking around. A huge soul food buffet was served for a late lunch,” the source continued.

Beyonce’s mother, Tina, looked splendid in a black dress and colorful beaded earrings. She uploaded a video to Instagram showing the lively and colorful event. The video (see below) shows proud mom Tina Knowles leading the guests in a chorus, wishing Beyonce a “Happy Carter Push Party!” as music by Nigerian “Afro-beat king,” Fela Anikulapo Kuti, played in the background.
The bash was dubbed “Carter Push Party” after Beyonce’s married name, Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter.
Photos that emerged on social media show the Lemonade singer walking around with her belly bare and her hair wrapped in a scarf. She had a sarong wrapped around her waist, and her belly was covered in large henna tattoos, according to TMZ.
An insider told E! News that Blue Ivy was seen kissing her mother’s belly and rubbing it.
It was clear from Beyonce’s swollen belly that she was ready to pop. However, the “Formation” singer has not revealed the due date of her babies or their gender.
Beyonce’s father, Matthew Knowles, recently shared insider information with TMZ about how much longer to wait until Queen Bey has her twins. Matthew seemed confident that his famous daughter was only weeks away from giving birth (see video below).
Matthew also recently talked about his relationship with his daughter, saying that he communicates with her weekly. He was refuting rumors that he was estranged from his daughters, Beyonce and Solange.
“I would describe my relationship with my daughters as loving.”
He also denied a rumor that he has been banned from his daughter’s delivery room, saying that the rumor was “a lie.”
That the Beyhive is waiting anxiously for news of the birth of Queen Bey’s twins is evident from a rumor that emerged this week that she gave birth to a set of twins — a boy and a girl — at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, on the morning of Saturday, May 20.
A source of the rumor claimed that the information came from a source having inside knowledge about Beyonce’s pregnancy
Beyoncé had caused a sensation last February when she announced to more than 90 million Instagram followers that she was pregnant with twins.
