‘Southern Charm’ Stars Kathryn Dennis And Landon Clement’s Feud Over Thomas Ravenel Explodes!
It’s only halfway through Season 4 of Southern Charm and the drama is already heating up. In a shocking new preview, Kathryn Dennis attempts to make things right with ex-husband Thomas Ravenel while Landon Clements fights about being caught in the middle of their explosive custody feud.
According to Radar Online, the preview begins with Ravenel reading a letter from Dennis about how their relationship ended. Dennis apologizes for cutting off communication and sounds like she wants to patch things up.
“Thomas, it feels like time has truly flown by. It’s almost 2017 and we haven’t spoken or seen each other since the beginning of 2016. It makes me truly regretful of the way things ended with us, leaving our children with only their father or their mother, and never both together.”
Ravenel, however, wasn’t sure if Dennis was being authentic or manipulative. Either way, he definitely has his hands full between dealing with the custody battle and finding a new romance.
As far as Clements is concerned, she is later shown fighting with other cast members about taking the high road when it comes to Ravenel’s feud with Dennis.
“If I had just had a child with someone and then another girl…” Chelsea Meissner tells her later.
The preview wraps with Dennis and Ravenel meeting face to face. At one point, Dennis is shown looking Ravenel in the eyes and saying, “I loved you so much and I will always love you.”
The estranged couple had two children during their time together – Kensington, 3, and Saint, 1. Ravenel was awarded full custody of the kids after the split as Dennis continues her battle with drugs, which has been well documented this season on Southern Charm.
People is reporting that Dennis is looking for help from an unlikely source in the wake of her dramatic custody battle. The Southern Charm star asked for some advice from JD and Elizabeth Madison, who are good friends with Ravenel and the godparents to Kensie and Saint. Dennis told Elizabeth that she wants to reach out to Ravenel for the sake of the kids but isn’t sure if he has a hidden agenda.
JD then revealed that he and Ravenel talked about the custody battle, and he urged him to put an end to the back and forth.
“The kids need their mom just like their dad. My God, man. It’s gotta come to a resolution,” he told Ravenel.
JD and Ravenel have been good friends for over 20 years. Although he tried his best to get Ravenel to reach an agreement with Dennis, he admitted that the situation was complicated. For Dennis, she just hopes everything will be settled by the time Saint turned 1-year-old.
“In a perfect world, I would hope we could celebrate it together, but I don’t really know how to navigate [the situation],” Dennis shared.
Dennis finished her latest stint in rehab right before filming for Season 4 began. It isn’t clear how things will shake out between her and Ravenel, but the preview looks like they are headed in the right direction.
As far as Clements is concerned, Bravo TV reports that Clements vowed to keep her distance from Dennis until the custody battle is sorted out. The two women have not gotten along in the past, so steering clear until the dust settles is probably a good idea.
“For right now, I need to concentrate on myself and what’s best for me. I think everything will fall into place from there,” Clements revealed. “I’ve always been supportive of her. She can say what she wants about me, but that’s not how I feel about her.”
Southern Charms airs Monday nights on Bravo.
