DMX Remixes ‘Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer’ [Video]

DMX is belting out his own remix of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” to with everyone Happy Holidays, and the resulting video clip is everything we have come to expect from the rapper.

DMX arrived at the studios of New York’s Power 105.1 and used all the musical tools at his disposal to bring us his version of the famous tune — which turned out to be the rapper slapping his hands on a desk to supplement his, um, singing?

Like any song the Ruff Ryders rapper performs, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” was supplemented with X’s expected “What” and “C’mon” ad-libs, notes The Huffington Post.

Brittany Lewis of GlobalGrind writes:

“…this has to be the best rendition of a children’s Christmas carol GlobalGrind has ever hears. Hopefully we can get ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Oh Holy Night’ before Santa Claus comes to town.”

What makes the DMX remix of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” even more impressive is the fact that the rapper is able to remember all of the reindeers’ names off the top of his hear (with no help). We have to give the Ruff Ryders rapper credit for this, since everyone knows how difficult this feat can be to accomplish.

At the end of the video, even X is surprised to hear he accomplished the feat — and got their names in the correct order. While we must endure (or enjoy) the Christmas music that has seemingly taken over every radio station we listen to — except Pandora, for now), we can certainly appreciate DMX for his rendition of the classic children’s Christmas carol.
