‘Teen Mom OG’ Amber Portwood’s Ex Matt Baier’s Disgusting Accusations Caught On Tape
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have gone through a lot of rough patches over years, but their recent fight might be the worst ever. A new preview of Teen Mom OG features the former couple’s explosive argument about eloping in Las Vegas. Is this why the two ultimately decided to part ways?
OK Magazine reports that the clip starts with Portwood calling her brother, Shawn, for advice on getting married in Vegas. Shawn told his sister that eloping isn’t a good idea because her entire family would miss out on the ceremony. Shawn’s advice changed Portwood’s mind and Baier wasn’t happy about it.
“I’m not marrying her now, ever,” Baier shouts at the cameras in the preview. “She wants to marry her brother! That’s who she wants to marry!”
The explosive clip comes a week after Portwood revealed that she and Baier had ended their engagement. Of course, rumors of an impending split have been circulating for months, especially after Portwood expressed her fears about marrying Baier on Teen Mom OG.
According to Radar Online, Portwood admitted that her doubts were based on the fact that she didn’t completely trust Baier. Between their up-and-down relationship and his dark past, Portwood was understandably hesitant to exchange vows.
“He wants to get married,” she stated. “I’m scared. We’ve been through a lot. I love him obviously. I’m waiting for the day the trust is completely there. I hope nothing messes it up and I hope everything is in order.”
Unfortunately, Amber Portwood’s wishes did not come true. The two later fought over her long work hours and things didn’t improve when Portwood went shopping for a wedding dress. Once Portwood tried on a few dresses, the reality of the wedding came crashing down and she finally opened up about her reservations.
“I deserve a beautiful wedding, but I also deserve a beautiful life with a beautiful man,” she explained. “We’ve been through a lot these last couple of years that I think has really shut me down from the wedding. A lot of that depression was caused by him. You can get to a good place and love each other and want to be with each other and still not trust each other.”
To make everything worse, Baier reportedly failed a lie detector test following some pretty heated cheating rumors. The test was allegedly filmed by MTV, though it isn’t clear if it will make it onto the show. Baier was accused of being the father of nine different children with at least six women. Five ladies have even filed a lawsuit against Baier for unpaid child support in Indiana. These cases were eventually dismissed, but not before Portwood got wind and made him take the test.
Portwood hasn’t addressed what went down between her and Baier. Based on the new preview clip, however, it looks like things are about to reach a breaking point for the former couple.
Meanwhile, Cafe Mom is reporting that Portwood has addressed the rumors that she got former Teen Mom producer Heather Walsh fired. Shortly after Walsh’s dismissal, Simon Saran took to social media and said Portwood forced MTV to fire Walsh. In response, Portwood fired back and revealed that she had nothing to do with Walsh’s departure.
“Why would I do that to her… I mean I’m an ass sometimes but I wouldn’t really want her fired,” Portwood shared.
Portwood added that Walsh probably got in trouble because Saran and Farrah Abraham partied too much on the show. Saran has not responded to the comments.
