‘Clash Of Clans’ Balancing Update: Supercell Changes Balloon Attacks With May 2017 ‘Clash Of Clans’ Update
Clash of Clans balancing updates are routinely done to help users enjoy the game playing process even more. When the May 2017 Clash of Clans update comes, which is expected to reveal some massive changes to the game, Supercell is also undertaking a balancing update that will shift attacking strategies. A new post by Supercell forum moderator Anoushka presents some of the details to that next Clash of Clans download, showing that there will be a defined change in how attacks using Balloons will be carried out.
The Balloon attack rate is going to be increased, which makes it sound like a pretty exciting change for people who attack with those troops. Reading further, though, users will find out that some key coding changes have been made. Below is the explanation describing how the damage done by the attacks has been lessened. Will this completely change how this particular troop gets used during Clan Wars? Maybe users will find a way to easily adapt and adjust to the changes?
“Balloons have enjoyed very high use rates since their latest “fast drop” balancing. This change doesn’t affect the speed of the fast drop or damage per second, but an increased attack rate means each bomb does less damage. This softens their initial attack but makes follow-up attacks happen sooner.”

There are nine total changes coming in this Clash of Clans balancing update, including increased damage from Bombs, the addition of a level seven Heal Spell, and a level six Freeze Spell. Maybe the biggest addition is that there will be a seventh Gold Mine and Elixir Collector that will be available at Town Hall level nine. This earlier access to more resources will certainly give users at that level a chance to build up their bases a bit quicker. It will certainly give gamers a reason to rush their bases up to level nine as well.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the May 2017 Clash of Clans update is going to primarily focus on introducing a new way to play the game. The last major update from Supercell brought with it Clan Wars, allowing clans within the game to battle against other clans. It was a huge change to how people approached the game, giving a lot of added excitement that could take place while users were improving their own villages. Now it seems there may be a new destination where users will be able to take their characters to wage battles.
For a while, it has been rumored that a second village will get added during the next Clash of Clans download. The assumption from many gamers posting messages in the Supercell forums is that the newly introduced Broken Boats will allow users to head across the sea to a new location. In that new setting, Versus Battles are going to be made available, possibly giving users the chance to enjoy one-on-one battles against their friends. It could be a huge introduction to the game and possibly bring a lot of additional revenue to Supercell.

There have been hints about the big COC updates since May 5, when Supercell started revealing videos that give hints about big changes. When Captain’s Log: Day 5 is finally revealed, it is expected that there will finally be some facts to go along with the rumors posted in the forums. As for the exact date it will all take place, that is still a closely guarded secret by the workers at Supercell. With the Clash of Clans balancing update and newest download set to take place at the same time, the game could be down for a few hours at some point next week.
