Is Leonardo DiCaprio Moving On From Nina Adgal With Scott Disick’s Ex, Ella Ross?
Leonardo DiCaprio’s split from model Nina Adgal might have only just been confirmed, but already, the infamous playboy is said to be moving on with yet another model.
According to a report by E! News on Thursday, May 18, Leonardo DiCaprio, 42, and Nina Adgal, 25, “recently split” after dating for just one year.
“They remain in touch and remain friends,” a source close to the former couple revealed. “It’s an amicable split, and they’re moving forward.”
Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Adgal first sparked rumors of a romance in May 2016 when they were spotted spending time together at Up & Down in New York City. At the time, a source told E! News that the now-ex-couple had great chemistry, and they were witnessed laughing a lot.
According to a source close to the couple: “They broke up a couple of days ago.”
Throughout their year-long romance, Leonardo DiCaprio and the model were seen around the country in various locations, including The Hamptons and Los Angeles, and in celebration of DiCaprio’s birthday in November, they traveled to French Polynesia. Months later, when Adgal celebrated her own birthday, she and DiCaprio were joined by friends, including Orlando Bloom, in St. Bart’s.
“I was all over the place last year,” she later told Maxim. “It was all awesome but it’s all a blur.”
According to E! News‘ insider, Nina Adgal met with Leonardo DiCaprio’s mother “a number of times” during their relationship and in April, a source claimed they were “totally happy together.”
Although Leonardo DiCaprio and Nina Adgal never publicly addressed their relationship while they were dating, sources previously told E! News that the actor was a fan of Adgal’s carefree attitude.
“I think Danish girls might be a little more chill—at least, that’s what I’ve heard from people who’ve also dated American girls,” Adgal told Maxim a few months ago. “I hear some of my friends talk about how you shouldn’t be doing that or wearing that yet. You know, ‘It’s only the fourth date,’ or whatever. I’m not like that. I don’t keep track.”
Prior to their relationship, Nina Adgal spoke of Leonardi DiCaprio and revealed the actor, who is known to “like blondes,” had never hit on her.
“I’ve never met him, but I have a friend who got invited to dinner with him. But, you know, whatever. It’s kind of the group you interact with, people that you meet at parties, so that would be only natural,” she recalled in 2015.
“If you’re in New York City,” she added, “you always see him around.”
Just one day before news of Leonardo DiCaprio’s split from Nina Adgal was reported, Entertainment Tonight suggested the actor might be moving on with Scott Disick’s recent flame, model Ella Ross. As the outlet revealed, Disick and Ross were spotted together at Nobu Malibu earlier this month, but on Tuesday, Ross was allegedly getting “cozy” with Leonardo DiCaprio at the celebrity hotspot, Avenue.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Ella Ross “were talking and dancing together for a while,” a source told Entertainment Tonight, adding, “It looked rather cozy and they seemed pretty interested in each other.”
“[Leonardo DiCaprio and Ella Ross] danced next to each other by the DJ booth,” another eyewitness said. “They were very flirty.”
According to the report, Leonardo DiCaprio and his longtime friend, the newly single Tobey Maguire, left the Los Angeles nightclub at 1:50 a.m., and when it comes to rumors of a potential romance with Ross, there may not be much to report.
“Leo was just out with his boys, like always,” the source said.
