Joanna Krupa Is Reportedly Dating Nico Santucci Amid Romain Zago Divorce Rumors
Joanna Krupa has reportedly moved on from her marriage to husband Romain Zago.
After allegedly separating at the end of last year, at which point her final photos with the club owner were shared on Instagram, the former Real Housewives of Miami star reportedly began dating entrepreneur Nico Santucci.
According to a report by Us Weekly magazine on May 17, Joanna Krupa and her rumored new flame were alleged spotted getting cozy on Tuesday, May 16, as they enjoyed a meal at celebrity hotspot Mr. Chow in Los Angeles. As the outlet revealed, Krupa was sporting a sweater and black tights with boots while Santucci wore a T-shirt and jeans.
“[Joanna Krupa] and [Nico Santucci] are feeling it out and like each other,” an insider told the magazine of the model’s potential new romance. “They’ve been hanging out.”
“They’ve been inseparable and enjoying their time together, and they spent Mother’s Day together,” a second source added.
News of Joanna Krupa’s potential new romance comes less than two weeks after her split from Zago first hit the web. At the time, E! News claimed Krupa and Zago had called it quits on their marriage after less than three years after they simply “grew apart.”
Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago showcased the rocky moments leading up to their wedding on The Real Housewives of Miami, which came to an end in November 2013 after just three seasons, and during the series’ finale episode, they were seen walking down the aisle during a wedding ceremony in San Diego.
Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago’s marriage was a bit unconventional from the start. As fans may recall, Krupa doesn’t live in Miami full-time. Instead, she spends her time between Miami and Los Angeles and seems to be on the West Coast much more frequently than back east.
During a January 2014 interview with Us Weekly, Joanna Krupa opened up about her marriage and admitted that being bi-coastal was not exactly an ideal arrangement.
“We both have such busy lives. The Real Housewives of Miami only shows my life in Miami and, to be honest, my life is more L.A. The only thing that keeps me in Miami is my husband,” Joanna Krupa said at the time. “I think we’re like the only couple that’s been doing a bi-coastal relationship for seven years.”
Just months before reportedly calling it quits on her marriage, Joanna Krupa spoke out about her future plans to start a family with her now-estranged husband, Romain Zago.
“A thousand percent! We’ve been talking about it more and more the last couple of months,” Joanna Krupa revealed to The Daily Dish in 2016. “And I started mentioning it and bringing it up to him after the holidays because I realized how amazing he is. Like when my girlfriend came over with her son and daughter, the way he was playing with the kids, the pure happiness that came out of him and the smile — and you can just see he’s ready. Whenever his brother Facetimes or Skypes with his niece, his eyes just brighten up. So I’m like, ‘Shoot, maybe.’ I will admit I don’t think a thousand percent I’m ready to have a child right now, but the fact that I see my husband like light up, I know it’s the right time. So we’ve been discussing it.”
“So within the next year we’re definitely gonna be planning some babies,” she added.
