Nick Lachey Kicked Out Of NFL Game For Talking Smack
Nick Lachey was escorted out of the San Diego Chargers football game on Sunday after officials decided he was trash talking a little bit too much.
While exactly what Lachey said has not been revealed, we do know that he’s a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan who was likely exciting fans who were busily cheering for the home team.
The former boy band singer didn’t seem too upset about his ejection, tweeting:
“Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn’t be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals”
Nick then waited for the Bengals to defeat the Chargers before tweeting:
“Bengals win again. i’d talk trash to everyone in SD, but what’s the point? you already had me kicked out of the stadium and you still lost.”
Here’s the coolest part, Nick took a photo of himself with a young boy who happened to be a San Diego Chargers fan, and, after the game, the boy’s dad tweeted:
“Thanks for taking the pic with my son and being cool to us. Congrats on the Bengals win!”
Nick Lachey had reason to be celebrating before he was kicked out of the NFL game as the Cincinnati Bengals are currently 7-5 and tied for the 2nd Wild Card playoff spot with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC.
The singer and reality TV star may not have been overly obnoxious though; some professional teams simply have more stringent rules. For example, Busch stadium workers ask people wearing offensive T-shirts to turn them inside out or cover them up to make for a more inclusive family experience at their games.
Next up for Nick Lachey is the hosting job at a new singing competition on NBC.
