Taylor Swift Reportedly Has A New Boyfriend, Desperate To Keep Romance With Joe Alwyn A Secret

Taylor Swift seems to have a thing for English men, which is why it isn’t surprising that her new boyfriend is another British heartthrob. The 27-year-old singer is reportedly dating Joe Alwyn, who gained fame for his titular role in Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. Ang Lee’s war film also starred Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel, Chris Tucker, and Steve Martin.

According to the Sun, the “Shake It Off” hitmaker is head over heels in love with the 26-year-old actor. The Hollywood rising star still reportedly lives with his parents in London. Swift, on the other hand, has been renting a house in North London, and she secretly went out on a date with Alwyn. She tried to find ways to keep her romance with the English actor a secret — even to the point of disguising herself.

“Taylor has flown in via private jets and her security has made it a military-like mission to prevent her from being seen,” an insider revealed.

“She’s been walking around with Joe in London using disguises, like scarves and hats, to keep her identity under wraps,” the source added. “Nobody has a clue they’ve been walking past a music superstar – not even her new neighbors.”

Taylor Swift and her new boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, are reportedly very serious with their relationship. The Grammy Award winner is allegedly desperate to keep her romance with the British actor away from the media, which was often the cause of her breakup with her ex-boyfriends including Tom Hiddleston.

The “Bad Blood” hitmaker decided to stay away from the limelight after her split from the Thor actor last September. According to reports, Taylor and Tom broke up because the 36-year-old English actor wanted to make their relationship more public, but she wasn’t comfortable with it.

Swift will unlikely experience the same thing with her new boyfriend because he is allegedly keen on keeping their romance a secret. A source confirmed their relationship and claimed that they had been open about it to their family and close friends.

“This isn’t a new couple alert or a secret relationship – the only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us, Taylor and Joe’s closest friends and their families, were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a longtime,” a close pal said.

“After her 1989 tour and all the attention Taylor received, she learned she had to be more protective of her personal life and she and Joe decided early on to keep their private life private,” their friend added.

Taylor Swift has previously dated some of the hottest and most successful men in the world, including British musicians Harry Styles and Calvin Harris, which is why it is hard for her to stay away from the spotlight. Joe Alwyn, on the other hand, has reportedly avoided dating celebrities so he can focus on his acting career. However, he has been dubbed as “Hollywood’s next big thing,” which means that he may have a hard time steering clear of the media.

Last February, Joe Alwyn revealed to the Evening Standard that some people recognize him now a bit, and fans even asked for a selfie with him in Soho, London. Despite the fame, he isn’t ashamed to admit that he still lives with his mom and dad, and he isn’t in a hurry find his own place. Unfortunately, when asked about his love life, the actor refused to reveal if he is dating or not.

Apart from Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriends, her girl squad is close to her heart – and Joe Alwyn already worked with some of them. Us Weekly reported that the British heartthrob did a Mario Testino shoot with Gigi Hadid for Vouge back in September. He is also set to star alongside Emma Stone in The Favourite.

According to the Evening Standard, Stone played matchmaker to Taylor and Joe since she thought they would be perfect for each other. The two allegedly met on the set in March and have since started dating secretly. The actor’s mother refuses to give any comment when asked about his new romance.
