Kim Kardashian promoted her longtime assistant and friend Stephanie Shepherd to COO of Kardashian West Brands. Who will the reality star choose to be her new personal assistant?
Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant-turned-friend, Stephanie Shepherd (aka Steph Shep) was recently promoted to chief operating officer of Kardashian West brands. Fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians have seen Sheperd on-screen because she is constantly by Kardashian’s side, providing support and anything else she needs.
Part of the family.
Stephanie joins the Kardashians on their family vacations, goes shopping with Kim, and is present for all of her public appearances, so of course, Kim and Steph grew to be very close friends over the years.
Recently, the two have even been sporting similar hairstyles. Kim and Steph have both worn their hair stick straight, long, and black for the past few months.
Kim promoted Steph to show her gratitude for all of her hard work, dedication, and loyalty over the years. Plus, Stephanie can have a long-term career with Kardashian West brands and be a part of Kim’s life forever.
Stephanie Shepherd recently sat down for an interview with Refinery29 , where she spilled a lot of details about what it takes to be a personal assistant for Kim Kardashian.

Shepherd shared that she came from a small town, and when she arrived in Los Angeles, she had “never seen a Range Rover.”
Stephanie was Erika Jayne’s assistant first.
Steph Shep is in her late 20s. When she first started out as a personal assistant, she actually worked for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi, who goes by the stage name Erika Jayne.
The former personal assistant said that Erika and her team had taught her so much and took her under their wing when she first came to town.
“They both opened my eyes to so much, about being a hard-working, meticulous assistant, yes, but also just all the things life can offer.”

Stephanie met Kim Kardashian in 2013, and they bonded over both wearing long, dark French braids. At the time, Kim was pregnant with her first child, North West.
Kris Jenner’s assistant liked Sheperd and immediately recommended her to Kim. She started working for her the next day.
Steph headed the 4/20 Kimoji merch.
After being promoted to COO of Kardashian West brands, Shepherd drives around with a trunk full of Kimoji merchandise and said that “you never know when you might need to gift some merch!”
Stephanie is also to thank for Kim Kardashian’s recent expansion into 4/20 Kimoji products. Fans have been wondering where the inspiration came from, considering Kim does not smoke.
“Kim doesn’t smoke, but I try to get the weed paraphernalia in there…you know, for the youth.”

Kris Jenner really does run the show.
Kim’s mother and manager, Kris Jenner, is a “f**king G,” according to Shepherd. She said that one of the biggest things the “momager” has taught her was not to “procrastinate.”
“When you want something done, get it done. If you’re a procrastinator, this is not the world for you. If someone tells her no, she has no problem standing her ground and saying, ‘We’re not accepting that, get someone on the phone and make it happen.’”

She also commented that the mother-of-six and grandmother-of-six is generous with her staff and gives “nice-a** Christmas presents.”
Kanye West is funny.
Steph Shep also shared that she thinks Kanye West is “hilarious.”
“I think people would be surprised to know how funny Kanye is. Do people know that he’s funny? I know everyone thinks he’s so deep and serious, but he’s also so funny, like he has me rolling laughing.”
She said that Kim’s husband cracks her up with his “one-liners,” and she loves the fact that he is so “unfiltered.”
Who will take her place?
Finding someone to take over her position will be difficult for Stephanie. The former assistant recommended other assistants out there to write everything down.
The COO of Kardashian West brands admitted to making mistakes along the way but learning from them and improving as you go.

Kim and Steph are extremely close, and the two talk all the time. Will things change now that she is no longer her assistant?
“I don’t think it’s possible for any person to talk to anyone more than I talk to Kim.”
For now, Stephanie is happy helping Kim run her show, and she is building a career with her. She is happy being a part of the Kardashian/Jenner clan and has proven herself to be a trusted and loyal member.
“Honestly, I’m just going to see where it takes me. I’m learning. I’m helping Kim Kardashian run her empire. I’m also building something for myself. I think that’s a pretty f**king great gig.”
