Pippa Middleton’s wedding is in a mere three days, and the details of the wedding are pouring in. What is the latest info on Kate Middleton’s little sister’s upcoming nuptials to hedge fund financier James Matthews?
The wedding is going to be held at St. Mark’s Church, Englefield, not far from the Middleton mansion in Bucklebury. Afterward, there will be a cocktail reception at Englefield House.
Pippa and James’ dinner reception, which is to be held on the grounds of Middleton family’s estate, is going to include a bespoke Crystal Palace that arrived all the way from Belgium. The stunning 140-foot-long, $120,000 glass marquee has been constructed alongside huge reception tents.
As members of the royal family will be in attendance, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, and reportedly, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, there is a security detail assigned to the event.
What about facilities? Although there surely are many bathrooms in the Middleton’s abode, it is not terribly convenient. And no one expects guests in their finery to use a port-a-potty! Instead, Pippa has equipped the grounds with elegant “throne rooms” for guests to relieve themselves. These rooms have porcelain basins, oak trims, and toilets that work like the ones on an airplane, with an instant vacuum-like flush.
It has not been made clear if guests are expected to also change in these rooms, as the wedding invitations asked guests to bring a second set of clothing for the reception. The number of guests expected to be invited to the reception is estimated at 300 people, so this is no small detail.
Much has been said about the fear of Meghan Markle outshining Pippa at her own wedding, not unlike what she did at her sister’s wedding to Prince William. Although the rumors are that the American actress and Prince Harry are secretly engaged and have the Queen’s blessing, those who may steal the show are quite a bit smaller than Meghan or Harry.
Is it possible that son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, and Pippa look-alike, daughter of the Cambridges’, Princess Charlotte, are going to be at the center of attention; perhaps for the wrong reason?
At the Queen’s recent garden party, Kate Middleton spoke to Andrew Bates, and his wife, Janet, and revealed her own fears of what could possibly go wrong at her sister’s high-profile wedding.
The Daily Mail spoke to Bates, and he revealed that when he spoke to the Duchess of Cambridge, she expressed concerns about her sister Pippa’s wedding. On the one hand, Catherine was quite excited about the event, yet, the Duchess of Cambridge was unsure how Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who will be a page boy and a bridesmaid, respectively, will behave at the ceremony. Both children are quite young for such big responsibilities, as Charlotte just turned two, and George will be four in less than two months.
“She said that they were all really looking forward to her sister’s wedding at the weekend but she was a bit worried about how her children might behave. “

Unlike American weddings, where the bridesmaids are usually closer in age to the bride, royal weddings can have several young girls participating, all decked out in their wedding frocks and holding flowers, as they walk down the aisle. Odds are, both the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge will be holding their breath as each child does their part, yet Kate clearly realizes, anything could happen.
“She said she was hopeful that they would be good but you never know at that age.”

Whatever they do, right or wrong, the two children could easily steal the show, as they have from their parents on other social occasions.
How do you think Princess Charlotte and Prince George will do in the wedding of their Aunt Pippa?
