Vanderpump Rules is reportedly in production on Season 6, and as the cast continues to film in Los Angeles, rumors of feuds have surfaced.
According to the latest report, Kristen Doute had caused a stir among her Vanderpump Rules co-stars, namely Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney, after reportedly rekindling her friendship with Scheana Marie, who was on the outs with nearly all of her female co-stars when Season 5 came to an end earlier this year.
"Kristen is still very close with Scheana, and the girls don't agree with that," a cast insider revealed to Radar Online on May 17. "The 'Witches of WeHo' are not thrilled that their third member is hanging out with their enemy."
While Scheana Marie hasn't mentioned Kristen Doute on Instagram in recent weeks, Doute posted a throwback photo of them together on the set of Watch What Happens Live earlier this month as she wished her co-star a happy birthday.
"Scheana has barely spoken to Katie and Stassi since filming last season, and she has been spending time with Kristen," the insider continued. "They had a girls' night recently singing karaoke with Scheana's other friends."
According to the report, the divide between the women first began during Doute's recent trip to Europe with Schroeder and Maloney. Apparently, as the source explained, Maloney began bullying her like Schroeder, and ultimately, Doute was forced to make an early exit from the trip.
"Stassi and Katie are closer than ever," the source noted, adding, "Stassi knows the more she spends time with Katie, the more air time she'll get on season 6."
While Scheana Marie has been close to Schroeder and Maloney in the past, they cut her off earlier this year after she rekindled her friendship with Lala Kent, who infamously fat-shamed Schroeder and Maloney early on during Vanderpump Rules Season 5 by stating that their "summer bodies" were lacking. She even suggested Maloney looked pregnant.
Although Scheana Marie wouldn't talk to Lala Kent during Vanderpump Rules Season 5, she quickly struck up a friendship with her co-star once filming wrapped, and now, fans are wondering whether Kent will have a role on Vanderpump Rules Season 6.
"It depends. I don't know. It goes day to day… such a fresh wound. We just did the [Vanderpump Rules] reunion. I'd have to sleep on it — for a few nights," she explained to Too Fab.
As fans will recall, Kent was under fire throughout the series' fifth season due to her relationship with a potentially married man. Although Kent continuously denied she was involved with a married man, All About the Real Housewives suggested her mystery man was producer Randall Emmett, who is married to Ambyr Childers, and on Twitter, both Schroeder and Doute tweeted to Kent asking about her rumored partner. Needless to say, Kent ignored both of her co-stars' messages.
Vanderpump Rules Season 6 will air on Bravo TV sometime later this year. A premiere date has not yet been confirmed.
