T.I. & Tiny: T.I. Claps Back Over Claims They’re Divorcing For Ratings Amid Bernice Burgos Romance
T.I., also known as TIP, is clapping back at a fan who suggested he and estranged wife Tiny (Tameka Cottle) are divorcing for money and ratings amid reports he’s getting serious with Bernice Burgos.
The rapper hit back on social media this week, slamming a fan who accused him and Tiny of faking their relationship drama and divorce in an attempt to drum up ratings for their reality show, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.
According to a screenshot captured by Baller Alert, a fan told T.I. on Instagram that they believed his and Tiny’s marriage troubles are all for show and that the two wouldn’t actually break up despite filing for divorce.
“If [you] guys break up I will literally think no relationship will ever work,” the fan told T.I. in a comment posted to Instagram underneath the trailer for the twosome’s VH1 reality show before they then called his and Tiny’s divorce a “joke.”
“I think this is a joke to make the show more polling but I love you and Tiny together,” they then continued, before suggesting that money is another big reason the estranged couple has been putting their marriage drama on display by telling T.I., “get it $$$.”
But it looks like T.I. wasn’t having any of the fan’s fake accusations about his impending divorce from his wife of seven years.
The rapper hit back at the fan on the social media site, clapping back in response, “Respectfully… Grow up love.”
T.I.’s clap back over the divorce allegations come amid reports the rapper has already moved on with a new woman, as Hollywood Life is claiming that T.I. is now dating Bernice Burgos but reported that she still sees the reality star’s relationship with Tiny as a “threat.”
“Look, Bernice may be younger and even hotter than Tiny, but make no mistake, she sees Tiny as a threat,” a source alleged to the site. “That’s one of the reasons why Bernice is always in the gym, watching what she eats and working out like crazy.”
“This is a ruthless game,” the insider continued of how Bernice supposedly feels threatened by Tiny now she’s dating her estranged husband, adding that “Bernice plans on winning.”
But while T.I. appeared to make it clear on Instagram that his split with Tiny and their subsequent divorce is quite real, the insider added that Bernice is supposedly still worried about the possibility of a reconciliation because the couple has been in each other’s lives for so long.
“Bernice is always going to look over her shoulder where Tiny’s concerned,” the outlet’s insider admitted about T.I.’s new love. “Tiny gave birth to TIP’s children. They’ve lived under the same roof since the beginning of time. They had a life together and Bernice would be a fool to think that Tiny and T.I. don’t have some sort of a special relationship because of that.”
However, the insider also noted that it’s looking pretty unlikely that the estranged couple will ever get back together, claiming that T.I. has never given Bernice “any indication that he’d leave her for Tiny, or any other woman for that matter” despite Tiny suggesting earlier this year that she’d be willing to give things another go.
The reports come shortly after Hello Beautiful reported that Tiny finally revealed why it had taken her and T.I. so long to put the wheels in motion when it came to their divorce, as she claimed that the delay is because the rapper refused to tell his wife where he was.
Tiny made the confession on the most recent episode of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, telling her daughter that her husband would not reveal his location so that she could serve him with divorce papers and that because it took so long for him to be served, their initial court date has been thrown out by the judge.
