Normani Kordei Responds To Bonner Bolton’s Proposal: Will They Go On A Date?

Normani Kordei is responding to Bonner Bolton’s recent date proposal.

The Fifth Harmony star finally responded to Bonner’s sweet request to go on a date following her latest appearance on Dancing with the Stars on May 15, revealing once and for all if she and the bull rider and model will start dating amid the romance rumors.

When asked for a response to Bonner’s date proposal in a new interview by Entertainment Tonight this week, Kordei excitedly replied to Bolton through the camera, “Yes! I will go out with you!”

Normani’s Dancing With the Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy then joked that he’d play the role of the protective brother if the two start dating, joking to Kordei – who’s 20-years-old – that she needed to give him the address and stay away from the alcohol.

“Not this week because we got things to do this week but maybe a week after that,” Val responded, referring to himself and Kordei making their way into the final of Season 24 of Dancing With the Stars. “I need an address, where you’re going on a date, what kind of men this is going to be, there’s no drinking involved because she’s not even 21 yet.”

But it looks like Kordei wasn’t too worried about Chmerkovskiy’s reluctance to let her start dating Bonner, as Normani jokingly hit back at the dancer, “I turn 21 at the end of the month!” referring to her upcoming big birthday on May 31.

Normani’s sweet acceptance comes shortly after Bonner asked the Fifth Harmony star if she would go on a date with him after being eliminated from Dancing With the Stars as he gushed over her in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last week.

Bonner couldn’t seem to stop praising Normani during the interview, claiming that he “loved” her while also calling Kordei a “beautiful lady.”

“You know what, I love that girl. She is just so beautiful inside and out,” the professional bull rider who competed against Kordei on DWTS this season said of the singer and his hopes to star dating the star. “When she walks in the room, the whole room lights up.”

“[Normani Kordei] is such a sweetheart and [was] an encouragement to me the whole time I was there,” Bolton continued of Normani.

Bonner Bolton then took things one step further in the interview by asking Kordei, who shot to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, to officially accompany him on a date.

“If she asked me out on a date, I would sure enough go,” he said of dating Kordei. “We’ll see what she says. Hopefully she’s watching.”

Bonner then turned to look straight down the camera and said, “Normani, it would be an honor to go on a date with you, ma’am.”

And with Normani’s recent response on the red carpet, it looks like fans can potentially expect a Dancing With the Stars romance to blossom pretty soon, which will no doubt thrill fans of the bull rider and the singer who have flocked to social media to gush over the twosome and urge them to star dating ever since Bolton proposed a date last week.

“Aww what Bonner said about Normani is really sweet,” Twitter user @JKV5H tweeted after seeing Bolton gushing over Kordei in the interview. “?I think they would make a cute couple,” @TeamIvyEyes added. “Bonner is such a gentleman and Normani is so sweet.”

“Normani crushing on Bonner. [They’re] both single they should date,” @OfficialTkeisha wrote on the social media site of Kordei and Bolton dating.

But while Kordei sweetly accepted Bolton’s request, fans will have to wait and see if the two do actually head out on a date after Dancing With the Stars Season 24 draws to a close next week, though it’s looking pretty good for Normani to take home the mirror ball trophy as Val’s brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy admitted that he thinks the duo will take home the win.
