Gwen Stefani Ready To Break Up With Blake Shelton? How Her Ex Gavin Rossdale Reportedly Is Involved

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to look like a happily flirting couple on The Voice. But when the camera’s turned off, Gwen reportedly isn’t quite so happy in her relationship with the country crooner. A new report claims that Stefani is ready to call it quits, and her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, allegedly has become involved to the point of demanding that he meet with his ex-wife and Shelton. This isn’t the first time, however, that Gavin and Gwen have been reported to stage a secret meeting since their divorce.

Last year, a family insider told Us Weekly that Stefani and Rossdale reunited in a “secret sit-down” to talk about her romance with Blake.

After Gwen and Blake began dating in October of 2015, Shelton reportedly succeeded in bonding with Stefani’s and Rossdale’s sons: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. That tight bond allegedly upset Gavin, who has shared custody with Gwen since their split in August of 2015.

Consequently, the source claimed that Rossdale arranged an “emotional” sit-down with Stefani to “reassert his dad rights” with regard to her romance with Shelton.

“Gwen had a meeting with Gavin to discuss her relationship with Blake and how it will affect the children going forward,” said the insider.

“[Gavin] wants to be consulted on everything concerning the kids and the role that Blake is playing in their lives.”

However, Shelton reportedly had no desire to reciprocate Rossdale’s desire to stay in the loop. A source told the magazine that Blake was “disgusted” by the allegations that Gavin cheated on Gwen with the family nanny.

“[Blake] has nothing to do with Gavin,” said the insider. “He can’t forgive someone who treated his lady that way.”

Now, about one year after that alleged secret sit-down between Gwen and Gavin regarding her relationship with Blake, a new report claims that Stefani is on the verge of breaking up with Shelton.

Rossdale allegedly is so worried about how a split would impact his sons that he’s even offered to take the boys so his ex-wife can focus on mending her romance with Blake, according to Ace Showbiz, which quoted a source describing how Gwen’s “faltering relationship” with Shelton allegedly is bothering her.

“[Gwen] wants the world to think everything is perfect with Blake. But that’s just not the case anymore.”

What went wrong with the romance? The insider claimed that one reason Stefani wants to dump Shelton has to do with her attempts to get pregnant. When she failed to achieve that goal, the two “began to argue more,” added the insider.

The arguments allegedly led to Gwen’s concern about her future with Blake.

“She started to realize they’re just too different to spend the rest of their lives together,” said the source.

One sign that Gwen followed up on Gavin’s request to stay in the loop about her relationship with Blake: Rossdale reportedly is aware of the impending split and is worried about their three sons. As a result, he is asking for yet another secret sit-down. He also allegedly volunteered to take the three boys so his ex-wife can focus on Shelton.

“Gavin worries that another breakup will cause a lot of emotional despair,” explained the insider. “So he wants to sit down with Gwen and Blake to discuss everything.”

As for the timeline of the alleged split, Shelton noticeably was absent last month when Stefani was celebrating Kingston and Zuma’s First Holy Communion, reported Just Jared.

Gwen’s niece Stella also celebrated her communion. But where was Blake? He reportedly was performing at a concert in Florida. And Shelton wasn’t the only man in Stefani and her sons’ lives whose absence at the event at the event was noticed.

The Daily Mail reported that Gavin Rossdale also was noticeably not present at the event.

But the absence of both Gavin and Blake didn’t seem to dim Gwen’s pride in her sons, 10-year-old Kingston and 8-year-old Zuma. The boys wore matching black suits, and Stefani stunned in hot pink pumps, a pencil skirt, and white shirt.

Apollo, 3, was also looking dapper. Dressed in a tiny suit, the little boy observed his older brothers as his mom cuddled him in her arms.
