‘Clash Of Clans’ Sneak Peek: Many Theories About May 2017 ‘Clash Of Clans’ Update On Social Media
A Clash of Clans sneak peek is what most users of the game want to see immediately. The May 2017 Clash of Clans update from Supercell continues to generate buzz on social media, leading to a lot of user-generated images and theories about where the game is going to go next. It’s not easy to discern the fact from the fiction on Twitter, as gamers are having a lot of fun with the hype that has been taking place over the past few weeks.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there are two videos that present a Clash of Clans sneak peek into how users will be able to use ships (or boats) very soon. Every user already has a ship that has washed up on the shore of their personal village, with a clickable link that sends them to a video which hints at being able to explore new areas of the game. An updated post in the Supercell forums already has more than 7,500 responses from users sharing their own opinions on how the game could be improved during the long-awaited May 2017 Clash of Clans update.
In addition to the mystery about what the next COC update will allow users to do is the secrecy surrounding the exact date when it is going to take place. There are a lot of debates taking place between users about what the hints from Supercell forum leaders actually mean. One moderator posted that what is getting advertised as the biggest Clash of Clans update yet will not take place before May 11. They later updated that post to say it didn’t mean May 12. So does this mean that the COC update will fall right on May 11? Or much later in the month of May?

The image above was posted to Twitter, possibly showing what the fixed ship could look like for users. Some people have claimed that this is a leaked image from Supercell, while others have stated that the colors don’t match up quite right. Either way, it has generated a lot of interest, especially because boats could provide a completely new dynamic to how the game is placed. Do they take users to a second village? Is that second village only available for night attacks? Is there a Clash Coliseum waiting where users can battle against one another for loot?
Another user having fun with the first two Clash of Clans sneak peek videos posted the image below on Twitter. It is a user-generated image, depicting what might be on the other side of the ocean for users. It presents an interesting look at what one particular user foresees coming up in the game but has also created a lot of buzz. Other people on social media have seen it and started claiming that it is all part of the May 2017 Clash of Clans update. That increased “hype level” surrounding the game has, in turn, frustrated some gamers who want Supercell to hurry up.

The “massive update” that Supercell has been advertising has a lot to live up to with gamers. The biggest Clash of Clans update, to this point, was when Supercell added Clan Wars to the game. It allows one clan to battle another clan in an event that yields gold, elixir, and dark elixir just for participating. When a clan wins one of those wars, the rewards are much greater and there are accolades that come along with the victories. Will the next COC update offer a way to use a primary and secondary village in the same battle?
What many users are hoping is that Supercell employees are going to provide an in-depth Clash of Clans sneak peek about the upcoming changes. That would different from the teaser videos that have already been released in that it would depict exactly how the Broken Boats are going to be put into use. With a reported 30 million users still actively playing the game, another large-scale update could help increase those numbers quite a bit. If the current hints do turn out to be correct, that massive Clash of Clans update could take place within the next week.
