Harry Styles And Taylor Swift Are Not Secretly Getting Back Together

Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are may be getting back together. Well, that’s according to report that appeared in an Australian publication, New Weekly. According to the report, Swift and Styles are ready to give their relationship one more chance. What’s more, mutual friend and recording artist, Ed Sheeran, is reportedly playing matchmaker.

But Gossip Cop, a site known for debunking celebrity rumors, is saying that any claims about a Harry Styles and Taylor Swift reunion are bogus.

“Four years on, Haylor are older, wiser… and ready to give their love another shot!,” the article states, as quoted by Gossip Cop. It goes on to say that Taylor and Harry had a secret rendezvous in Nashville and they started to feel those old romantic feelings that had brought them together in the first place. The magazine also quoted an alleged inside source who claimed that Taylor had always wished she and the One Direction star would rekindle their flame and that Harry had grown to become, “the man she needs.” As for Ed Sheeran, the article says that he’s acting as a “cupid” ensuring that his mutual friends find love together as well.

Gossip Cop quotes one of their “impeccable contacts” who said that the rumor is unequivocally false. Furthermore, there was no secret meeting of the former couple in Nashville either.

More than likely, this story stems from the fact that Harry Styles has been talking about Taylor Swift quite a bit of late as he promotes his new solo music.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Harry chatted about their short-lived 2012- 2013 romance in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“When I see photos from that day, I think: Relationships are hard, at any age,” he said of one of their highly photographed dates in Central Park. “And adding in that you don’t really understand exactly how it works when you’re 18, trying to navigate all that stuff didn’t make it easier.”

He also said that he wanted the date with Taylor to just be normal but there was awkwardness between them.

“I mean, you’re a little bit awkward to begin with. You’re on a date with someone you really like. It should be that simple, right? It was a learning experience for sure. But at the heart of it, I just wanted it to be a normal date.”

People are also questioning whether Harry is dropping hints about his feelings for Taylor in his new songs and by people, I mean eagle-eyed fans on social media.

According to Just Jared, some Harry Styles and Taylor Swift fans think that one of the songs on his upcoming album could be about Taylor. That isn’t because of the lyrics or anything understandable like that. They’re basing the assumption on the name of the song, “Ever Since New York.” Harry and Taylor spent a lot of time in the city when they were together so fans have put two and two together and come up with their theories.

But if Harry did decide to write a song about Taylor, it would only be fair. As the Inquisitr noted previously, Taylor Swift is known for making thinly veiled references to past boyfriends in song and Harry was no different.

Maybe it’s a sign of the times, but the “evidence” seems to point to the conclusion that Taylor Swift and Harry Styles are never, ever, ever getting back together. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
