Katt Williams Leads Police On Motorcycle Chase
Authorities said they are investigating Katt Williams after he allegedly led them on a chase while driving a three-wheel motorcycle in Sacramento Sunday.
Police said they are planning to file a complaint against the comedian once the investigation is completed.
Authorities initially contacted Williams near the Hyatt along L Street. He left after being accused of disturbing the peace, but was soon spotted by Capitol Protection Officers.
Katt Williams was allegedly driving a three-wheel motorcycle on a sidewalk, and came close to hitting pedestrians.
Capitol Protection officers flashed their lights to get him to stop, but he continued to run several red lights. He was not cited as officers feared for public safety if they continued the chase.
Williams has run into a string of legal problems recently. The comedian was sued by audience members for his bizarre performance at an Oakland show. The show ended after 10 minutes after he “confronted a heckler, took his clothes off, and attempted to fight at least three audience members.”
Two days prior to the performance, Williams was arrested and charged with battery after being involved in a nightclub brawl. He was also arrested in October after he pulled a gun on actor Faizon Love. No charges were pressed, and police found no weapon when they searched the Supper Club. They did find a weapon, however, when they searched his vehicle.
Williams is also wanted in on an Atlanta arrest warrant for a battery case at the Four Seasons in 2010.
What do you think is the cause of Katt Williams’ bizarre behavior?
