Zayn Malik And Max George Clash On Twitter
Zayn Malik of One Direction and Max George of The Wanted have taken to Twitter to indulge in full-blown boy band Twitter war. It’s as fun as it sounds.
The clash between Zayn Malik and Max George began on Tuesday when One Direction’s Zayn, seemingly for no particular reason, called George a “geek” on a photo of himself with Korean rapper Psy. Malik wrote:
“The first step is acceptance #geekoftheweek.”
The maturity levels basically descended from there, with Malik then adding:
“Your [Twitter] display just [s]how’s how much of a wannabe you are :)”
As the rest of the world collectively yawned, George hit back with:
“That’s not very nice. I was just starting to like you and your RnB hits.”
Reinforcements were soon called in by both children, with George’s bandmate Tom Parker throwing in a jibe about the blonde streak in Zayn Malik’s hair:
“I think ‘1 stripes’ got his knickers in a twist bro.”
And the laughs just kept coming, with Zayn replying:
“Mate if I had a face like yours my hair would be the last thing I’d worry about :)”
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson then stormed in to back up bandmate Zayn with the witticism:
“Pipe down bad boy.”
Unable to leave the dispute be, Malik later wrote to George and Parker:
“Let’s not even start discussing vocal ability boys ? would love to chat gotta run though rehearsals.”
And George replied:
“Enjoy rehearsals. Stay off the bud… It clearly makes u cranky.”
The tweets have since been deleted. Their scathing wit and stunning insights will be sorely missed.
