In the last year, Kate Upton has landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated , Cosmopolitan , and GQ , she’s landed endorsement deals for products like Skullcandy headphones and now she’s landed her own Super Bowl commercial.
The New York Post reports that Upton will star as the “object of desire” in a new commercial for Mercedes Benz. The commercial will make its debut during the Super Bowl in 2013.
According to a source, the commercial will be a “tongue-in-cheek depiction of how far a person might — or might not — go to get their heart’s desire.”
The Himalayas Times reports that Mercedes-Benz didn’t run a Super Bowl commercial last year but decided to get back in the game in 2013. The company will also get their name out during the Super Bowl since this year’s game is taking place in the Mercedes-Benz Super Dome in new Orleans.
The company said:
“It’s a big product year for us next year and the game will be played in the Mercedes-Benz Super Dome, so all the planets are in alignment.”
Kate Upton may be starring in the new Mercedes-Benz commercial but don’t expect her to be driving since the model’s license has reportedly expired.
Upton was made aware of her license problem (or the fact that the media was making up stories) by her mother this morning.
My mom this morning “did your drivers license expire?”.. No why?… “Because the news is reporting it did.”
