WWE News: Seth Rollins Says He Will Be Back For ‘WrestleMania’
Seth Rollins came out on Monday Night Raw last week and said that he would be back at WrestleMania to fight Triple H. The WWE is now promoting that there will be an exclusive look at Seth Rollins’ rehab efforts as he heads to WrestleMania on Monday Night Raw tomorrow night. Rollins statements that he will be at WrestleMania combined with the video for Raw almost assures that Rollins will be back for the event.
The Seth Rollins injury was to the same knee that he had surgically reconstructed last year. That original injury caused Seth to miss WrestleMania last year and he seems determined not to let it cost him his match at the biggest WWE show of the year again.
This would be one of the biggest matches at WrestleMania because Triple H is involved. Putting Seth Rollins against the man who last beat Sting at WrestleMania is a huge moment for his career and beating Triple H would push him to the top once again.
This feud all started last year when Triple H and Seth Rollins were on the same team until Rollins’ injury. When Seth came back from his injury, he went after the WWE Universal Championship again, beating Roman Reigns and then losing to Dean Ambrose at Money in the Bank.
He got a chance for the Universal Championship after losing to Finn Balor for the title. That is the match where Triple H betrayed Seth Rollins and helped Kevin Owens win the title. Seth has been chasing Triple H every since and even showed up at NXT TakeOver in San Antonio to call out Triple H.
While security removed Seth Rollins from that event, Triple H finally called him out on Monday Night Raw. When Rollins came out to fight Triple H, Samoa Joe made his main roster WWE debut and destroyed Seth. That is when Rollins suffered the freak re-injury of his surgically repaired knee.
Originally, the word was that Seth Rollins would miss WrestleMania and that he wouldn’t be cleared by doctors to return for the show. However, when Seth Rollins came out on Monday Night Raw and said he would be at WrestleMania, it seemed to seal the deal that this match will happen.
Outside of Seth Rollins vs. Triple H, the matches rumored for this year’s WrestleMania include Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt (with maybe AJ Styles involved), Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho, John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse, Roman Reigns vs. Undertaker, and Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar.
There will also be a WWE Women’s Championship match for both brands, something for the tag team titles, Intercontinental championship, and the Andre the Giant battle royal. There are also rumors for Shaquille O’Neal vs. Big Show, but that match is now in doubt.

That is a stacked card with what might be too many matches for any one match to stand out. There are at least 12 or 13 matches rumored for WrestleMania so even if Seth Rollins vs. Triple H never happens, there is still a lot to look forward to.
When it comes to Seth Rollins, it is not about being part of a big WrestleMania card but about taking part in a huge match on the biggest WWE show of the year. When Monday Night Raw airs the rehabilitation video for Seth Rollins, fans should know a lot more about the injury.
