Nursing Student Arrested After Revealing Plot To Kill Obama To His Therapist

A 20-year-old nursing student from Colorado was arrested on Tuesday after revealing to his therapist that he plans to shoot dozens of children, murder people on Halloween and then assassinate President Obama.

Mitchell Kenneth Kusick of Westminster and a student at Colorado Mes University in western Colorado was held on suspicion of a federal offence after making threats to the sitting president.

Jefferson Country court records in Denver show that he repeatedly told his therapist about his plan to shoot children at a trick-or-treat event at Standley Lake High School. The records also say that Kusick bought a shotgun from his aunt’s house and then attempted to by ammunition, whilst his parents also made him get rid of two weapons, a .22 caliber rifle and an assault rife.

Chillingly, he told his therapist on October 29 that he planned to commit these atrocities and he also proclaimed that he wanted to go down in history as the ‘guy who killed Obama.’ This came days before the president’s campaign rally in Boulder.

Reports also indicate that Kusick was obsessed with the recent tragedies around the country, such as the Columbine High School and Virginia Tech atrocities, plus the Dark Knight Rises theater massacre earlier this year. Kusick’s Facebook page states that his interests are ‘American conspiracies,’ the film Paul Blart: Mall Cop and also features the quote ‘Some people just want to watch the world burn down, and I’m one of them.’

The therapist notified the police, whilst Kusick was placed on the mental ward at a hospital.
