According to WKTV, officers were called to the Duhnam Dorm at Hamilton College in New York at around 2 am after Bongiovi suffered an alleged overdose. The 19-year-old student was reportedly unresponsive when police arrived. The rocker’s daughter was taken to the hospital while officers obtained a search warrant and searched the dorm.
Police found heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia on the scene.

Hamilton College released the following statement:
“In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy. The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students. Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters.”
