Kristen Bell Slated To Appear In ‘Gossip Girl’ Series Finale
Actress Kristen Bell will make a cameo in the series finale of the popular television drama Gossip Girl, according to E! Online.
Bell’s voice has made an appearance in every episode of the program starring Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Penn Badgley. The Veronica Mars star will pop up in the flesh for the first time in series history during the final episode.
The folks at TV Line explain that The CW and Warner Bros. have yet to comment on Kristen Bell’s cameo in the final episode of Gossip Girl. However, sources have stated that she will indeed show up in the episode of the show scheduled for December 17.
It’s currently unclear of Bell will portray the Gossip Girl herself in the finale. The When in Rome star provided the voice of the character during the show’s six season run.
“The saddest day I’ve had in a while … Last day on #gossipgirl I’ll miss you, you snarky b*tch!” the actress wrote on Twitter.
Last week, it was announced that Kristen Bell and fiance Dax Shepard are expecting their first child. According to People, a close friend of the couple broke the news to the magazine.
“They’re so excited — they’re both ecstatic. They can’t wait to become parents. Kristen had a little bit of morning sickness early on but she just started shooting the second season of House of Lies and is feeling great now,” the anonymous individual explained.
In addition to the season finale of Gossip Girl, Bell is slated to appear in writer-director Liz W. Garcia’s drama The Lifeguard and the upcoming comedy ensemble Movie 43. In 2013 the actress will lend her voice to the animated family adventure Frozen.
