Octomom: Child Protective Services Allegedly Wants To Know If The Kids Had Access To Xanax
Octomom Nadya Suleman’s Xanax habits are allegedly being investigated by Child Protective Services. Agency workers supposedly want to find out if Suleman’s brood of 14 children had access to her anxiety-reducing stash of Xanax.
Nadya reportedly checked into rehab recently to treat an alleged addiction to Xanax pills and to learn how to cope with stress in a healthy manner. A Radar Online source had this to say about Child Protective Services staffer’s supposed inquiry into the Octomom’s Xanax storage habits:
“Social workers are very concerned about where Nadya Suleman was keeping her Xanax as there have been claims that her fourteen children had access to her stash. It’s extremely concerning because if a child ingests Xanax they can suffer serious medical consequences including death because it depresses the respiratory system.”
The source also claims at Child Protective Services workers will want to inspect Suleman’s Xanax bottles to make sure that they have child safety caps. The government social workers will also allegedly want to know if Nadya kept the prescription drug in her purse and how the medication was obtained. The source also maintains that the Octomom’s house was constantly in “utter chaos” and that both counter and prescription drug should have been kept locked away from the children.
Officials from the Los Angeles County Child Protective Services agency are allegedly planning a tour of Nadya Suleman’s Palmdale home after an anonymous caller voiced concerns about the welfare of the children. The Octomom was reportedly spotted in Tennessee taping a spoof video, apparently on a break from rehab treatment.
