CNN Anchor Says Jonah Hill Treated Him Like ‘The Help’
CNN anchor Don Lemon believes Jonah Hill treated him “like the help” during a recent run-in with the comedian, and he’s telling anyone who will listen.
The feud started nearly 24 hours ago when Lemon tweeted:
“Said hi to @jonahhill in hotel. Think he thought I was bellman. Didn’t know his name til bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind.”
Jonah Hill, obviously not pleased with that particular perception of himself, shot back:
“I said hi what do you want me to do move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn’t realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace.”
Jonah then toned down his rhetoric, tweeting:
“I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me. Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude.”
Don Lemon simply wasn’t taking that type of talk, appearing on CNN this morning where he discussed the incident. According to Lemon:
“Jonah Hill doesn’t owe me anything, and he may have been having a bad day … but Jonah Hill treated me like the help.”
As it turns out, Lemon did get a handshake but it was a “wet handshake.”
Lemon wants Jonah Hill to apologize for his rude behavior. Let’s be honest for a moment. If we all expected apologies from rude people, all we would do all day is sit around listening to people say “I’m sorry.”
In the meantime, perhaps Don Lemon should apologize to Jonah Hill for waiting outside the bathroom door to shake his hand. That’s more than a little bit creepy.
