Khloe Kardashian Warned Boyfriend Tristan Thompson Is Using Her For Fame [Rumors]

It may not be the happily ever after Khloe Kardashian was looking for as sources say her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, is only using her for fame.

It’s being reported by several sources, including Radar Online, that Tristan is only in the relationship with Khloe for the social media popularity as the Kardashian sister has a huge following. Not to mention, anyone tied to the Kardashian family automatically gains enormous media coverage and recognition.

Radar Online reports Khloe is indeed being used by Thompson, her boyfriend of about four months.

“In a huge turn up for the books, a Kardashian is being used for publicity by her significant other — rather than the other way around!”

The site reported its “sources” divulged the information as the 32-year-old Kardashian gets more and more serious with Thompson. It seems Tristan is allegedly enjoying the benefits that come with dating one of the most popular reality stars of the moment.

“Sources tell Radar that NBA star Tristan Thompson is reaping the rewards of dating youngest Kardashian sister Khloe, with one insider claiming, “He’s with her for her social media presence.”

But it gets a bit harsher as the “source” states Thompson has not only seen a spike in social media following, but also an increase in endorsements, which means more money in his pocket.

“Since he’s been with Khloe, his following has doubled, which means his endorsement deals will as well,” the source continued. “It’s no coincidence that he upgraded from dating an Instagram model [Jordy Craig] to a reality TV star with more than 60 million followers.”

Radar Online also quoted the source saying Thompson went from dating an Instagram model — who admittedly is not nearly as well-known as a Kardashian — to Khloe, who has a massive social media presence. Apparently, the source believes Tristan is strictly in it for himself as they state “it’s no coincidence” the NBA player upgraded to Khloe, who undoubtedly has a type that includes professional athletes.

Another celeb site claims Khloe is missing the red flags as Tristan’s affection is faked. According to Bossip, as the site quotes OK! magazine and Life & Style. It appears Khloe’s friends are concerned as she seems to be the only one putting in any effort into the relationship.

“Khloé is the one putting all the effort into the relationship and her friends fear Tristan will end up hurting her.”

Bossip also brings mention of the fact Tristan now has a child with his ex, which may only complicate things for Khloe.

“Khloé’s friends have warned her that Tristan and Jordan could get back together and at the very least, co-parenting between them could be very dramatic and complicated.”

OK! magazine stated Khloe’s friends are worried as she seems to be the one putting in any real effort to make the long-distance relationship work.

“It’s basketball season and it doesn’t seem like he’s making much effort to see Khloé at all.”

It’s been well-documented that Khloe is constantly flying between Ohio and Los Angeles as she tries to fit in family time and time with her new boyfriend. She even flew back on Christmas Eve to attend Kris Jenner’s annual holiday party, only to turn around and fly right back to spend Christmas day with Thompson.

Of course, Khloe and the rest of the Kardashians showered Tristan with lavish gifts despite the relationship being only a few months old. The Daily Mail covered just what Tristan received from the Kardashian clan as fans watched the couple open gifts via SnapChat. Among the gifts was an expensive watch and Lorraine Schwartz diamond bracelet.

“The 32-year-old reality star surprised the Canadian 25-year-old with a pricey Patek Philippe watch and a ‘BB’ smiley-faced charm bracelet from Lorraine Schwartz.”

Tristan also received expensive gifts, such as an unreleased luggage bag, from Kris Jenner, as reported by Hollywood Life.

“…gifts from her family, including an insanely luxe black Louis Vuitton bag. He’s clearly impressed with the gift, then even more so when Khlo-money drops the little tidbit of news to him that, ‘They’re not out yet. From my mommy, that style’s not out yet.'”

While some are speculating Tristan is only in it for Kardashian-like fame, it seems the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, Kris, has provided her stamp of approval. So perhaps there’s more to this story than meets the public eye as Kris Jenner is known for being quite protective of her children.
