Biden Offers Teen Ride In Limo [Video]

Cleveland, OH – Joe Biden offered a teen a ride in the vice presidential limo on Sunday during an impromptu stop at the My Friends Restaurant in Cleveland.

The vice president had stopped on his way to a scheduled event at nearby Lakewood High School. As 17-year-old waitress Amira Nasrallah served Biden cheesecake and coconut custard pies for himself and wife Jill Biden, she shared a coincidence with Barack Obama’s right-hand man:

“You’re going to my high school. But I have to work here.”

The response from the vice president was instantaneous with Biden offering the teen a ride in his limo. “If you ride with us,” he asked, “will you be able to get back?”

Nasrallah, clearly taken aback, replied, “Oh my God, are you serious?”

There was no kidding on Biden’s part however. “Why don’t you ride in my car with me, okay?” he asked.

Nasrallah’s shrieked “Oh my God!” reply provided the answer; after all, it’s not every day Vice President Joe Biden offers a teen a ride in his limo.

When Biden had finished mingling with other patrons, he found Nasrallah and told his team, “You see this lovely young woman? We’re gonna let her ride with me, in my limo, to the high school.”

By that stage, Nasrallah had acquired a fellow passenger: her twin brother, Amir Nasrallah. Both teens went along for the ride, with the vice president telling Amir, “You go around the other side of the door. That Secret Service agent will let you in.”

With Biden, the young woman, her brother, and Secret Service ensconced in the silver SUV, the party left for nearby Lakewood High. You can see the ultimate school ride for yourself in the video below:
