J-Lo, Drake Spending New Year’s Eve Together
Jennifer Lopez and Drake are rumored to be planning to spend New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas and are in the company of one another.
The New York Post reports J-Lo recently canceled her $1 million New Year’s Eve gig at a Miami nightclub to spend the night with her new rumored beau.
“He will be in Vegas and she wants to hang out with him,” said a source.
The two have recently been spotted all over L.A doing just that, including reportedly canoodling at an L.A. hotspot, and a rep for Lopez confirms she has pulled the plug on her Miami show for “personal and family time.”
Lopez’s rep only added that “they are spending time together, working on a new music project.”
Lopez’s rumored status as the “Hotline Bling” rapper’s latest love interest puts her in the company of such onetime purported mates as Rihanna, Serena Williams, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Zoe Kravitz, Tyra Banks, Rashida Jones, Rita Ora, Teyana Taylor, Kat Dennings, and Taraji P. Henson.
Over the last several weeks, Drake has been a fixture at her “All I Have” Las Vegas concerts, including renting out West Hollywood famed eatery Delilah following one of her shows for a date night with just her and some of his closest pals.
After the dinner, Drake and the “Jenny from the Block” singer were seen leaving the restaurant together in the same vehicle. It’s the same restaurant where Drake recently celebrated his 30th birthday with Swift and a throng of other guests.
After a summer of being linked to Rihanna, Drake is now reported to be single, while the 47-year-old Lopez recently split from on-again, off-again boyfriend of at least five years Casper Smart.
“Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment,” a source recently revealed of their latest split. “They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way.”
More recently, Rihanna has hinted at a more bitter breakup, blasting him as a “jerk,” amid reports that he was hooking up with Instagram model India Love soon after their split. Adding fuel to the fire, Love’s ex-boyfriend Cliff Dixon, the adopted brother of NBA star Kevin Durant, reportedly cheated on her with Rihanna.
The “Umbrella” singer recently reflected on social media, “None of my exs are married or in happy relationships so it’s safe to say that I wasn’t da problem lol.”
News of the Drake dalliance seemingly puts to rest talk that Lopez might be on the verge of reuniting with ex-husband and father of her twin children Marc Anthony.
The two recently collaborated on a new Spanish-language album and kissed while on stage following a recent performance. Also, stoking the rumors is the fact that Anthony is in the midst of a divorce from third wife Shannon De Lima.
Lopez’s former love interests have included Sean “Diddy” Combs, Ben Affleck, and Chris Judd.
Among Rihanna’s rumored exes are singer Chris Brown, MLB star Matt Kemp, and rapper Travis Scott. Brown and Rihanna infamously split after he physically attacked her, leading to him being placed on probation for assault.
The pair later tried to reconcile their relationship but again parted after a brief time together.
Over the years, Brown and Drake have often openly antagonized one another, with Rihanna often thought to be at the heart of their disputes.
Members of their entourages infamously brawled at a New York City nightclub back in 2010, with the fracas ending with Brown sporting a thick gash near his chin. That scrap reportedly started after Drake taunted Brown about their sultry ex-girlfriend.
